So what does the coalescing of polls across the nation result in for the largely reliable and steady Pollster.com's national map and EV's so far?

Combining strong and lean Red states(One lean; It's WV.), McCain has 163 EVs on his side. Respectable.

Combining strong and lean blue states, not counting the tossup states, Obama has 320 EV's on his side. That means he has a cushion of fifty EVs he could lose from the 'Lean or Strong' Blue between now and election day and still win.

And the thing is, if things keep going the way they have been then it's only going to get worse for McCain.

He's already begun an all-in on sleazing his way to the finish line. Everything the Clinton campaign threw... Ayers, Wright, 'Who Is Barack Obama'.. Is being ressurected. Everything now rests on that strategy.

The wheels are coming off. He can't talk about the economy. People beyond me have started noticing Palin's accent is neither Alaskan nor terribly consistant. Keating Five has dared rear it's head. Word has escaped about his plans to cut eligibility and benefits for Medicaid and Medicare, shunting more burden onto the states and the most vunerable.

The problem is, global violence is increasing in this wake.. Man got shot in London for wearing an Obama T-shirt. Link

McCain is now tapping the worst of the worst.. It could get ugly.
