Sweet Lady T, Canada supplies far more than ten percent of the U.S.'s oil currently. Alaskan oil not a big part of current consumption.

Currently, we're using Arabian oil to suplement that. At the time of the game, we don't have that option

However, I can and will change that if the GM insists.

And I've changed it, after talking with DS.

IRWriter86: Hey, simply out of curiousity. Is this G1 Megatron, complete with "I turn into a pistol?"
DarkSteele: yes..
DarkSteele: why?
IRWriter86: Because I always found that rather... laughable. And Shellshock will probably make fun of Megatron for it at some time.
DarkSteele: well, "i turn into a pistol" earth form
DarkSteele: on Cybertron, he was a tank
DarkSteele: a really badassed tank..
IRWriter86: Oh yeah, Shellshock respected that.
IRWriter86: He probably found out about the new form and was like "Wait, what?"
DarkSteele: yeah
DarkSteele: but the new form takes all the firepower he had
DarkSteele: compacts it down
IRWriter86: Ah...
DarkSteele: and makes it more powerful
DarkSteele: he just needs someoe to hold him...
IRWriter86: Aww, Megatwon needs a hug...
That's what this war is really about. Megatron just needs a hug.

TeamhairTahal: Stryke's Fingers, btw
agentfisherSDnet: Oh, geez, thats cruel.
TeamhairTahal: DarekSilver001: a few parts?
DarekSilver001: fuck that
DarekSilver001: he's losing both legs and half his cerebral processing nodes!
agentfisherSDnet: I knew it!
agentfisherSDnet: And hey, I need those nodes.
TeamhairTahal: DarekSilver001: No he doesn't
agentfisherSDnet: Yes, I do.
TeamhairTahal: DarekSilver001: I'll shove him into a Vehicon

The only thing that could have made the Pilot/Hornet/Crimson scene funnier is if she'd been standing and talking to DeathStrike. His blue paint and obvious plane wings would totally have convinced the pilots he was Hornet's father.

Could we get another round of our 'Bots heights? Or at least put it into our character profiles so we know how big everybody is?

IRWriter86: Oh Starscream...
DarkSteele: mmm?
IRWriter86: You're such an ignorant fuck. But you've done so much for the Autobot cause I may just ask that you...
IRWriter86: Question.
DarkSteele: who, me?
DarkSteele: or Starscream?
IRWriter86: After this battle, can Shellshock recommend that we send Starscream a medal of valor for his actions in assisting the Autobot cause in multiple occasions?
IRWriter86: :-D
DarkSteele: mmmm..but how will you know it's Starscream?
IRWriter86: Not in this occasion, but just in general.
DarkSteele: aahhh
IRWriter86: That 'bot, in his wants for control of the Decepticons has fucked up more perfect plots than the enigmatic animal sidekick.
DarkSteele: hehe

GenHavoc: AHAHAHA
GenHavoc: I just realized
GenHavoc: When you're in a flight group, you have a flight number designation
GenHavoc: Eagle 2, 5, 6, 12, etc...
GenHavoc: The leader of the flight group is Eagle Leader
GenHavoc: However...
GenHavoc: When you are in a flight group all by yourself, with no other planes
GenHavoc: You're not called "Leader". You're called "Prime"
GenHavoc: So... if they're considering Hornet to not be part of one of their flight groups, the natural designation for him would be...."
TeamhairTahal: *DIES LAUGHING*
GenHavoc: "Eagle 6 to Hornet Prime,"
Next thing you know, he'll be wearing the Matrix.

TeamhairTahal: Hon? She meant that DEATHSTRIKE showed up StarScream
GenHavoc: She did?
GenHavoc: Er... oops
TeamhairTahal: Typical Hornet, misunderstanding ;)
GenHavoc: Very much so!
GenHavoc: *Blames Hornet*
TeamhairTahal: And I posted your quote
TeamhairTahal: I didn't realize 'Prime" meant "Prime Target"
GenHavoc: It doesn't
TeamhairTahal: ???
GenHavoc: It was a comparison
GenHavoc: To show how "Prime" means many different things
GenHavoc: the joke is that it stands for "Primary Target"
TeamhairTahal: BTW: if we overhear the 'HornetPrime' down here, we are SO making jokes
GenHavoc: Well it was over the open radio....
TeamhairTahal: agentfisherSDnet: Oh, god yes. "Hornet Prime, this is Stryke, can I please go 'hang out' with Crimson?"
agentfisherSDnet: And if anyone says anything, I can say I asked Prime.
TeamhairTahal: *falls over*
TeamhairTahal: IRWriter86: ...
IRWriter86: Maybe I can get that nuke I always wanted...
TeamhairTahal: agentfisherSDnet: lol
agentfisherSDnet: Prime said it was ok.

The horrible irony here is if Slipstream shot Starscream, you all would shoot Slipstream.

How have the Autobots survived themselves this long?

Some of us would only critique your aim.

Actually, Deathstrike wants Starscream to live. He's going to fuck the Autobots hard (although vigilance can reduce that), but the potential Decepticon civil war is just to valuable to throw away.

Maybe, but I'm fairly certain that the fact we haven't kill Starscream yet pretty much qualifies this as the single worst repeated mistake EVER. And I say repeated mistake because we've established that he's done this just a few times before. And always with the same results. Hey, it's Starscream, he's surrendering. Well hey, welcome aboard! Oh shit, he betrayed us as soon as it was convienant for him! Who the fuck would have thought it? Starscream betrayed us!

As soon as the Autobots stop slurping on Prime's matrix-engorged mechapenis they might have a shot of winning.

Ok. You see that OOC that was up there? About Starscream ruining more perfect plans than the enigmatic animal sidekick? The fact that it is completely true is half the reason he's still alive. He's a fuckload more useful to us fucking up the Decepticon's plans for his own stupidity, than rusting in the ocean somewhere or something. The other half, is because he has LOADS of valuable information that we can use to turn this war around. If you fucking shoot him, you can't get that info, at least not as easily.

And for the record, Shellshock figured Starscream was gonna turn traitor the moment he saw it as fortuitous for him. He's seen it before. Hence the "Again?!" He was planning on keeping him locked away somewhere until they got everything they needed and then either shooting him or releasing him to the Decepticons, who would either do far worse, or where he would turn traitor to them again eventually and fuck up one of their plots.

But ask any infantrymen who had served in one, and they praised it.
Unless I've been turned into chopped liver, I would have to say I am proof this is not true.

Erm... Cyncat, might I enquire as to how Deathstrike saw the Decepticon planes in the process of taking off? Unless I miss my mark, our radar coverage does not extend as far as the Decepticon base, or else it would be a simple procedure to fire some radar-guided missiles over there and wreck everything they have on the ground.
Gaze upon my works, ye mighty, and despair...

Because

1) Deathstrike is way up in the air, just barely suborbital, and doesn't have pesky terrain in the way

2) The base has all sorts of defence systems, undoubtedly including anti-missile systems. A few missiles won't do jack. We would have to drop the hammer on them to do any real damage.

But at distance like that, would it not be mildly difficult to pick up such activities as the ones you're reporting back to us? Granted, satellites could do such things, but I didn't think Deathstrike had that level of surveillance capability. Moreover, while I agree that a few missiles are unlikely to impede the Decepticons in a material sense, if we can see and potentially hit them from where we (or you) are, why can't they do the same to us?

Deep space interceptor as well as ground attack and from a ridiculously advanced civilization. He's also playing a lot of attention to that particular area and only detecting them after they launch, when the targets will be big IR flares and show up on radar.

While I find Headmasters to be just silly, I have to admit that using them against squeemish Autobots makes sense.
