To be fair to Nitram, it's a lot easier to go put a foot up the ass of some kook in SoCal than it is one of the people perpetrating mass murder in Syria.

More importantly, it's not exclusionary. Throwing the little twat in jail for parole violations and pretty much destroying any would-be careers for the actors he duped does in no way stop the governments in the Middle East from finding the perpetrators and stringing them up for a jury.

I suppose that's fair. I guess I'm just tired of every media cycle being about "look how angry muslims are at what we did to them", instead of "look at Hizbollah and the like use this to try and distract their people from the violent murders in Syria... again."

You're asking for nuanced reporting from a media market that profits by simplistic narratives, amigo. I mean, you can find a lot of sources that will discuss precisely what you're talking about, but when you're looking at the likes of CNN the advertisers they cater to are looking for the broadest demographic and the broadest demographic is best reached by simplicity.General Havoc wrote:I suppose that's fair. I don't look at CNN, or Fox News, or other such simplistic news sources. But neither do I wring my hands at them whenever someone else says something foolish.
