What an awesome story. It's stuff like this that renews one's hopes for humankind.

Events such as this not only hearten my hopes for our somewhat arrogant species, but also show that there is a central "be good to and for people" tenet in most religions. This fact tends to get overlooked more often than not, and things like this help us to remember.
