"Van a few blocks away. Rib broke in fight. Help me there. Won't see me again, just need help for a few minutes." Anderson grunted, holding his side. He was beginning to suspect that damn thing hadn't just busted one rib... a bunch would be more like it, plus internal injuries... he was tasting blood, and he hadn't bitten his tongue or anything. Any help he could score, even if it was two civilians, he'd take...Rukia wrote:Camie winced, Damn, So close.... They both stopped. Cam turned a bit hesitantly to face the man walking towrds him...
"I think we're in trouble..." Bry said under his breath.
Cam just squeeked a reply

Sephiroth could smell the blood on the third man, and heared his plea for help

Cam and Bry both jumped. But where as Bry turned to face the person who had snuck up on them as they were being approched from the front, Camie involuntarily turned invisible.

Anderson immediately crouched and moved over to the wall, keeping his eyes on where the girl had been, reaching down to... his empty holster. He slapped his leg, biting off a curse, and then stood up and spoke to the new arrival, "Am fine. Just get me to van and leave there."

Came back a look of nervous terror on her face. Bry looked at her then promptly ran off. She muttered, "Thanks a lot jerk."
She stepped foreward, "Here, I can help get him there quicker." Then, "I'm not a anti. I swear." The sight of the man reaching for his gun (there or not) had scared her, and she was shaking.

Anderson grunted, "Dunno. Ask one of the other metas. Freaks released somethin, drove a buncha them crazy, got knocked out."
Noticing the girl's apprehension, he moderated his tone a bit and tried to look a little more relaxed-- which didn't really work as he rasped, "Now, help me to van, or not?"

Avatar looked at the poor, obviously shken girl, reached into a smll pouch that he had, who's straps expanded when he shifted form and pulled out a business card
"If you ever need help with anything, call this number. DOnt worry, I am usually human"
Then he sped off at full tilt in the direction of the building.

She noded. "Ok. I need you to hold on, the landings are a bit rough but I'll do my best to keep you from getting more injured."
She stepped up right next to him and flung one of his arms around her shoulder. "Hold tight. And I need you to picture your van." She waited a second then flashed out of sight, taking the man with her.
They landed a spilt second later. The landing hadn't been as bad as she was expecting and they were right next to the van, again better than she had been expecting.
She let out a squeek of joy, dispite herself.

A scream could be heard from nearby.
"Get away! Get away from me!"
A quick glance would reveal nothing though. A second scream rang out.
"Go away! Leave me alone! Stop! Nooo!"
For a brief moment in the bad lighting they thought they could see something move, but it dissappeared again.

Anderson sagged against the young lady, pain shooting through his side. He rasped, "Thank you... now... door..."
Reaching upwards, pressing his thumb to the latch button and waiting a moment, the lock hummed after it read his print; opening the door, he realized with a sinking feeling, he should've walked...
Awkwardly, he turned and whispered, "Um, the guns. The... everything in there. You... won't tell? Nobody?"
Suddenly he coughed, bringing his hand up before his face in time though; when the fit finished, he looked and saw blood on the palm of his glove. Turning and sitting on the tail, just inside, he held his side tightly and grunted, "Up inside... glove box... white box. Sealed. Bring to me. Two syringes inside. Blue one, in arm..."
He passed out, slumping back onto the grimy carpeting.

As the girl teleported away; Avatar could smell something he didnt like. He couldnt put his finger on them, but they were certainly toxic. He walked in a zigzag pattern, walking into and out of the chemical trail until he was right on it. Whatever was there was not visible. Then he heard it move. It was alive.
He moved the air around it. Giving it fresh air, not to mention keeping the higher concentrations of whatever chemical it was from affecting him.
Hopefully fresh air would help clear his system. If not, he would need hospitalization.

The silvery suit came into focus. The voice screamed again.
"Get away! Why Mr. Liberty? Why are you doing this?"
The form screamed again, it was echoed by a second scream that was almost not there.

"Fuck..." Cam said, climbing into the van. She began talking to herself. "Glove box," she opened it, "White sealed box, got it." She opened the box and saw two syringes...she hesitated for a second before picking out the blue colored one. She hopped back down in front of the man, took his arm and searched for a vein to stick the needle in. She found one and took a deep breath before sticking the needle into his arm and injecting the fluid into his veins. She sighed, not knowing what to do now. Just then she heard someone coming around the corner into the alley. "Damn it," she hopped into the van and pulled like hell till she got the man in too and then closed the door. She waited for him to come around.

'A hallucinogen' he thought to himself. His mind raced, thinking of ways to flush it out of the guy's system. He didnt have the ability here, and he doubted the hospital could either. He would have to get him to his lab. But not the university lab. His lab. Affectionatly known as the CrocCave. Everything was perfectly legal. He purchased a section of abandoned subway tunnel connected by a section of abandoned unused sewer to the hudson river and reactivated the electricty and plumbing.
It was then that he recognized the fetalized human before him. It was Legacies. He did some stuff down in florida a few years back. This caused him to completely disregard the acid-blooded bodies nearby and pick the poor guy up.
Avatar carried him over to the sewer opening, opened it up, and climbed down, gingerly closing it behind him. He headed for his lair. he had the equipment there to bring legacies back to the land of the thinking, and make an inoculate.

*His body temperature rises rapidly.
Sweat springs up on body, starting to soak through combat jumpsuit; hands twitch and start unconsciously grabbing at Velcro laces of body armour.
Occasional muscle contractions run along his body.
Under the mask, his face twists and breathes with difficulty, striving to draw in as much oxygen as he can. Eyes roll back till only the whites show.*

The suit began to contort wildly and with an almost ridiculous strength. Anything to keep it from going down that manhole again. They were bringing him back to Liberty. They were going to finish the job. Mark screamed again as sharpened tendrils began tearing away at the pavement once more. What of the manhole that had been there was almost completely destroyed.

"Ooohh, not good definately not good..." She started to panic. For god's sake please tell me I did not just kill a super... It took her a few moments to get under control. Then she instictively took off his mask so he could breathe and un did his bodysuit. She took a few deep breaths and looked around the van for something that would be of some use... She saw some cabinates under a computer and searched through them. She glanced back over her shoulder to see if he was getting better... didn't look like it. "Damn it," she cursed out loud. She searched for a few seconds and found a first aid kit. She found a ice pack and some smelling salts. Hopfully this will work...

He he headed created a collumn of air and floated upward carrying the stricken superhero on his shoulder. He rose above the slyline until he could see the silver snake of the Hudson river. And another collumn of air propelled him toward it at 200 miles per hour. He started decellerating and dropping in altitude until they hit the water with a soft splash. An air bubble formed around Legacies to protect him from the water.
Avatar swam through a tunnel and came up several meters later in a dry sewer tunnel which connected almost directly to his stretch of now-used abandoned subway tunnel through a service entrance.
It was formerly a station. The tunnel itself was blocked by several feet of reinforced concrete. The area where the tracks were was filled with water and landscaped into a semi natural environment in which lived several alligators turtles, fish and other smallish animals.
Separated from this by a chest high wall and a gate, was the lab. Fully equiped with everything from gene sequencers to a scanning electron microscope, all the way to a mass spectrometer. lab tables, cold storage and a chemistry lab.
he set legacies down on a a padded examination table. Then something in his brain switched, and he transformed back into his fully human form. Now nude, he slipped into a closet, disingected himself and put on scrubs and a lab coat. Then he went back into the lab, took out a syringe, drew some blood from Legacies and put it into a centrifuge. Provided the symbiote didnt resist.

She turned around to find him pulling his mask back on, even before he sat up. Still panting, but breathing easier. Tightening the straps before he turned around, he asked quietly, "You didn't see my face, did you?"

Niner ran and jumped between rooftops of buildings, focusing his mind. The effects had finally worn off. The moon was out and the pale light casted down on the buildings. He leapt from a building and used his powers to soften his landing. He landed in an alleyway. He pulled his hood back up to cover his head and moved out of the alleyway.
