If you haven't posted your colonies yet folks, we would take it kindly if you did. Myself, I have none. Easy to post.

Sorry, I guess the tentative grab was just that. I just can't seem to keep a maintained interest in this game right now.

It's cool, Hotfoot. No point in playing if you're not interested, right?

And just to clarify, infantry divisions of all three types are 16,000 men in manpower cost. Rules have been altered to show this.

Jester, for the record. You can edit your posts to put everything in one post. It would probably be a lot easier if you did that.

I'm gonna have to second Charon there. Everyone let's try to keep everything on one post.

Okay seriously, single posts people! I don't want to have to hunt across the whole bloody OOB thread to find your information.

I physically cannot fit all of the information I am posting in one post. I had no choice but to extend it to a second one.

Then honestly? Have less information. Put down what you need to put down in your OOB as long as you can fit it, then all the other less important information somewhere else.

No, I don't actually believe I will "have less information". All of the military information and layouts are in one post, all of the non-military fluff are in another. The numbers are all prominently displayed, and nobody is requiring anyone to read anything I've put down. It's there for my own edification and for that of anybody who wishes to look.

Would people be happier if I set up a wikia for the game? Then those of us who like lots of fluff that can't possibly fit into the 65,000 character limit of the software can put up as much as they want?

I accidentally reposted my entire thing; I have two posts but they're functionally identical, because I mistakenly hit "quote" and created a new post instead of "edit" and changed the old one. I apologize for the error, but there's no need to hunt for anything because it's all there in both posts.

This would be a really good idea, in my opinion. Not only would it make more room for fluff, but it would make it WAY easier to find things. Instead of having to scroll up and down a series of gigantic novella-length posts looking for the material we need, we could set up hypertext links.

Indeed, I will offload all of my extraneous infodump into the wikia and leave only the military Orbat stuff behind.

Gratuitous Retcon: San Francisco is the capital - however, San Francisco proper in this world is on the mainland and not the tip of the peninsula where OTL San Fran is. IOW, my San Francisco is Oakland.

I'll have some minor retcons here and there, but nothing major, mostly just a question of finding out stuff I didn't know about other players' background history.

I intend to have people post their quarterly orders, though anything intended to be secret will be marked as such and can be shown instead to a mod in a private PM.

However, I'm contemplating whether to do a thread for orders or to have them put in the OrBat thread.

Love the wika, should I put the real world name of a place in if I change it? Something like

Lincoln City (Springfield)?

It's advisable, if just to give people an idea of what the city really is.
