====== The Master (Glitch) ====== In the events of the The Glitch IV, the Master is a hooded being who was the driving force behind the Glitch Council and responsible for advancing many of the plans of the Glitch Forces. Many assumed he was a powerful Game-verse Villain who had taken up the Mantle of the Glitch after the beings Defeat and dormancy following the last Glitch War. Eventually it was discovered that the Master was instead a Avatar of the Glitch itself, taken human-esque guise. Until the events of Chapter One of "The Glitch IV", the Master, also known as the Dark Wanderer, was only seen in a black hooded robe, sticking to the shadows as he gave commands to those under him. After the Ascended's escape the Dark Rider fortress on the Gameworld of Zion, the Master adopted the form of the fallen Darek Steele, using his image to harass and trouble the Ascended humans in their quest to defeat the Glitch.
