"Soon the seas will turn red with the blood of the Human race, as the unspeakable horrors come from beyond the gate, which is Yog Shothoth, to devour all in their path! Ia! Shub Niggurath! Ia! Ia!"

- begins to plot bad things for Aimwen or Galadriel-When they're raped, elves die, according to Tolkien's footnote to this sentence. The footnote also overlaps with why elves don't have adultery:
"Among all these evils there is no record of any among the Elves that took another's spouse by force; for this was wholly against their nature, and one so forced would have rejected bodily life and passed to Mandos. Guile or trickery in this matter was scarcely possible…for the Eldar can read at once in the eyes and voice of another whether they be wed or unwed." (LACE footnote 5)
Alright, I'll vent my frustration to the Goa'uld System Lord, then.Ra wrote:Leia is awesome, dude. Just admit it.
Anyway, was that subtle enough? It also seemed to fit in her "no-nonsense" characterization.

Yup. By the way, I guess now we have two locations simultaneously.Destructionator XV wrote:You might ask where am I going with the mirror universe? The agonizer for the Guardians, I hope!
If any of you want to play your mirror-selves, jump right in!
Uh, the Fearless hasn't found the Free Destructionators yet, actually.Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman wrote:Yup. By the way, I guess now we have two locations simultaneously.
(1) the parallel universe, where the free Destructionators and the HIMS Fearless are travelling. They're travelling together, ain't they? Jon? Adam? Are you two both playing on the same place?
Yup, I wonder what Allen will post. Maybe the Archmagus will make the Alliance go crazy? So the Alliance leaders will be slowly overwhelmed by some unspeakable fear, then they will start turning against each other? Ia, Ia!! Shub-Niggurath!!Ra wrote:Uh, the Fearless hasn't actually found the Free Destructionators yet, actually.Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman wrote:Yup. See, that's the problem I presented. I mean, it will be simply too easy if we defeat every enemy using brute force. So I guess the party need to be more cunning.Ra wrote: Adam's solution, which I liked, was to fight the bad guys to get out. Clean, simple, action-packed. But now we have the unsurmountable "kill a baddie hurt DK" problem, and a powerful dragon to deal with, which could kill us all. And while Ra and Leia would LOVE to do apeshit on the gnomes and kill him off, that would be so sudden and be complete betrayal at that point, which I'm not wanting to do.

Obviously. And god help us if Allen starts sending Sword Driders after us.And by the way, killing the gnome-spiders itself is not an easy process.
Well the Aurora can't reach the party even though it is directly above them. The party is on different... plane of existence, remember?Ra wrote: Seriously, my only guess is to run away, and hope someone gets us outta here. Now I wish Tank had been on the Aurora crew.
Yup. I hope there will be more of 'psychological' terror though (like in Lovecraft), where members of the party will get hallucinated and such.Ra wrote:Obviously. And god help us if Allen starts sending Sword Driders after us.And by the way, killing the gnome-spiders itself is not an easy process.

Yeah, well how did Indy get out? And back to the task at hand, how do WE get out?!KAN wrote:IIRC I also remember the novel Indiana Jones and the Interior World (sic?), where there's a place which act as 'gate' between the Earth and the Inner Earth. The 'gate' is not tangible, by the way; you enter a forest and soon you're in the Inner Earth.
Bah, the Phoenix can royally fuck the dragon, for that matter. We're talking about a being which consumes a start at whim.Ra wrote:Also, re: the dragon, those fuckers are extremely powerful, not just in strength and burnination, but also in magical power. Hell, the dragon of Morgoth (I forgot its name) was able to pwn the Elves like crazy. Not the pussy Third Age Elves, either. The Eldar of Beleriand were far more powerful (magically), and numerous.
Not really. Be creative!Ra wrote:My point, the party is fucked. Royally.

I know that. My point is that, barring Phoenix DXM, we're in trouble.Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman wrote:Bah, the Phoenix can royally fuck the dragon, for that matter. We're talking about a being which consumes a start at whim.![]()
But of course, now the host (Darth Kreshna) is incapacitated.....
Last time I was creative... You remember the battle with Unicron? Yeah, THAT. Uh, huh. Allen LOVED that, didn't he?KAN wrote:Not really. Be creative!
