#1 It's a Cat. Just a cat [pics]

Post by The Grim Squeaker »

Last Saturday After a wild night/morning Twilight Imperium marathon, I wandered the streets in a sleep deprived haze. Then I saw a cat and took a few pictures of it while waiting for my driving lesson.

It's not amazing shots, nor that amazing, but people like cats and if anyone's reading this thread then they either like cats or my photography, so either way's good :P .

Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much: the wheel, New York, wars while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in water having a good time.
But the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons

I'm not sure if "She" was a "She", the pink think in the last two pictures might have been just a sore, and the angle kept the shots high enough to prevent any biological identification. She looked a bit small and skinny but it was a street cat living in a building site, so under-nutrition is very possible (As an alternative to it being an adolescent).

Most likely it is a girl. Genetically speaking, it's very rare to have a male calico cat. So she is a she. ^.^ Adorable nonetheless...

She certainly seemed to enjoy your attention.

I'm not a 100% on this but I've had male cats in the past and have never been able to ID their gender in this manner. Generally their wang is hidden and only their testes are visible just below their anus. I'm not sure where their penis is but I've never actually seen it there and I've given my male cats plenty of belly rubs.

Nah, she kept running away from me after the first second or so. She was in a construction site, so I suppose that after she didn't get any (non-existent) food from me, she decided to vamoose towards fatter picking.

EDIT: For the last time people, I did not have food for the cat, I am not a cat hater, I simply didn't have any food with me, on me or near me, for the cat or myself.
Therefore, I could not and did not feed the cat :P

There may be another reason for her being so skinny...

That might not be a sore. That might be a tit, as in she's a Mommy.

I'm still contemplating strangling .303 over the thread title. It's JUST a cat?

That being said, VERY nice pictures.

Well and I'm contemplating strangling him for NOT getting something to feed the cat and going back there to do so but that's just the cat person in me.

Someone needs to brush up on their media and literature references, and that's all I'll say :P.
That being said, VERY nice pictures.
Thanks.

I was waiting there for a driving lesson that took me a few dozen miles away, and it was an abandoned construction yard so there was no way for me to get food for the cat (In addition I didn't have a Cent on me).

And as I said:

However, I fully support starting up a fund so that anyone willing can send me money for car fuel and food for the cat, and I'll manage the rest of it ;). [Despite my horrendous cat-allergies, from when we did have a cat, the "Mario who was a Maria"]
