Which is your favourite fantasy species or race, and your favourite rendition thereof?

You know, Elves, Dragons, Dwarves, Drow, Hobbits/Halflings, etc. etc. etc. (specific groupings of humans can count)

And what your favourite rendition of said species is, like from LotR, DnD, WoW, etc.

My personal Favourite: Drow, Forgotten Realms, or possibly the Night Elves from World of Warcraft

So easy I didn't even have to think: Dragons.

Fairies

And if they are fairy pirates, I think I may have to change my underclothing.

Drow, with Elves as a close second. You can seduce an Elf, but a Drow will seduce you.

You can seduce elves?!

Last I checked they were immune to most mind-affecting magicka and drugs.

See, that's the thing. I don't HAVE to use drugs or mind control, only my charm. I'm just that fucking good.

OMG, I didn't realize I was that arrogant. *!*

Well, *checks own character sheet* I have 23 Charisma... so I'm that good. Probably due to my being a specialized Sorcerer though... my magic is tied directly in to my Charismatic traits...

Ya, but I'm just a mercenary rogue! No magickal powah whatsoever. My charm is natural! MUAHAHAHAHAHA

*ahem*

Sorry for the threadjack, folks. Maybe we should take this somewhere else.

What I meant was, Sorcerers draw upon their CHARISMA for magic... not their charisma draws upon the Magic... (as odd as that sounds) because the Magic is related to the person's artistic talent rather than intellect... and, apparently, Charisma covers artistic stuff, such as poetry and singing.

And my Magic is natural anyway *flaps draconic wings*.
*ahem*
*hands over generic throat-soothing medicine*

Perhaps we should...

I gather that you were a Deekin fan (that's if you've played Neverwinter Nights)?

Heh, I prefer Gnomes for the small and annoying, personally. You might as well be an illusionist as well while you're at it, get as much milage out of your powers as possible.

Drow, as a species. Daemons (Lords in particular) as individuals.

if you have a higher charisma than they do, as well as a higher appearance, and roll a 20....*rolls eyes* all of which CAN happen...

I was referring to Ra, specifically...

Who only has that one-in-twenty chance

Whereas, I, being a Charisma-Based Battle Sorcerer, have a charisma score of 23

Making me uber-powerful, and uber persuasive
