BRIDGE DAY!

Yes, once again I am going to grab a couple friends and drag them up to the festival and watch the BASE jumping idjits leap off a 876ft high bridge.

The Bridge

Isn't she pretty? I'm going to be one of those teeming hundreds walking across the mile-long deck and gawking at the views down below. Not to mention enjoying the festival booths on either side of the bridge.

That's an awful lot of bridge.

One full mile from end to end. 876 feet above the river. You can stack the Washington Monument and 2 Statue of Libertys atop it underneath that arch.


It's the largest/longest steel single arch bridge in the Western Hemisphere. (used to be in the world... damn Singapoore)
