Give me an example of british cuisine that's popular in another country. Like, I dunno, italian, mexican, spanish, french (yuck, except for the baguettes and croissaunts -sp?), turkish, greek, indian-need I continue?
Great Valen I'm kidding Narsil. But you have to admit while there's a number of things England is known for it's cooking is not among them.

I just get very sick and tired of the constant misrepresentation that British cuisine consists of a combination between black pudding and haggis.
Very fucking sick and tired.

Isn't Haggis scottish rather than british anyway?
And welcome to the jungle, baby. Think of this the next time you see someone saying weisswurst and sauerkraut are representative of german cooking.

I hereby apologize for the threadjack, Rukia. I wasn't aware this day is so important to you (especially as that day is already over for me, and patriotism isn't something that comes easy to germans) but that is no excuse. Gunslinger, I cry your pardon.

Well I made all my posts in the other thread in testing... missed this one.
Oh, I can say it again. Go America! Blow things up! Because if there's anything we're good at in this country, it's blowing things up.

Happy Independence Day!
Well, people make barbecue and lit fireworks to celebrate Idependence Day, aren't they? Man, I love barbecue, especially when the sauce is tomato. Care to share some recipes? See, the reason I prefer tomato to vinegar is because.....
*notices Rukia is staring* Uh-oh.

Again: Happy independence day...
One minor, insignificant correction to Batman's post
Isn't Haggis scottish rather than british anyway?
Britain = Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales
Good day, sir.
