Three teenagers from the Arab town of Qalansawe were arrested after 150,000 detonators were found in the house of one of them. The teenagers, age 15 and 16 were taken to a police station for questioning where they claimed that the detonators meant for their personal use. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
Okay... Someone from one of those explosive-friendly states, explain to the guy who grew up in Conneticut. What possible personal use could you have for that stuff?

Well, I've lived in a lot of states, some that were explosive friendly, some that weren't. And I honestly have no practical use for detonator caps other then to blow shit up. Now, don't get me wrong, this is a damned amusing time if done correctly. Namely you get a piece of shit electronics and you blow it the fuck up and you feel better. But 150,000 detonator caps is so far over the top that I can't think of a single good purpose for those other then blowing the fuck out of either A) a large amount of diversified shit or B) blowing up something big.

So either A) Carbombs B) Pipe Bombs or something similar for anti-personel bombs or C) Blow up buildings

Didn't Ace mention fireworks earlier? I presume these were originally supplies for that, as it seems to be a holiday in Israel. Likely the boys just bunged a few crates of the stuff out of a truck or something. What they were gonna use it for, though, is the question...

Recreational demolition? Oh, blowing up old junk is lots of fun, but I don't think that's what they had in mind. Not with that many detonators, and not in Israel.

Well no, but to claim 'Personal Use' got me wondering.

Is it wrong that somehow i see absolutely nothing wrong with that statement even given the context of the article?

Because attaching det caps to harddrives that have failed you for the last time is an incredibly fun idea?

Idea nothing! It's an incredibly fun undertaking of explosive proportions!

Of course there was also the computer I threw of the third story balcony because it failed me... As a result I have the best running computers that I know of. They have the fear of God in them... or to be more correct, the fear of B4UTRUST in them...

But when you get down to is...isn't that the same thing as the fear of God?

Like it's been stated detonators have one purpose, to cause an explosion, they're very good at their purpose and at 150,000... well that's alot of fucked up harddrives, or alot of pipebombs.

A hundred, even a hundred and twenty thousand, that's just a good time. But a hundred and fifty? That's over the top.

Great Valen I'm a costumed crime fighter and I doubt I have that many around the cave.
