You know what would've made this worthwhile?
Doing it when there was something to filibuster today other than.. Nothing. The schedule is empty save for recignizing Mr. Sanders to speak. If he had done this on Monday and stopped the vote, maybe this would've been worth praise. Right now.. It's just C-SPAN theatrics.

To be fair, Sanders didn't even considered it a filibuster and more reckoning it as a 'long speech'. So yes, it is theatrics but with a purpose to get people to start calling and emailing their Senators which he had implored throughout the speech to do.
