Yeah, well there's also the little matter of me needing to wake up for work in five hours. I'm going to bed. We'll work it out later.

Garxon is very Chaotic Neutral, as you can see. Once he gets an idea in his head, he tends to drop whatever he's already doing and go with that.

Also, since rhoenix was the only one who actually wanted to fight him, unless you can find some other way of keeping his attention, its probably about time to move this little distraction along and get into the main plot.

Main plot is cool with me, but in a couple hours I'm heading out for a weekend-long SCA event and won't be back until Sunday.

Edit: And Bartel ain't kidding; there is one and it involves exactly that.

It's a sweat lodge in the middle of a forest. Why do you think Garxon was musing about finding a forest? I have the book. So if you guys really want to follow him, you can try, just expect to suffer the consequences.

The only thing Bartel wants out of that madman is to be rid of him, so no, there will be no following.

Incidentally, Fehl is conscious; is he having any reaction here?

Edit: Oh, and as you can see, my departure was delayed a few hours, but it won't be too much longer. Hour and a half at most.

Alright, I'll write that up.

You know, I just realized that I should probably had said something about you being out of town, but in my defence I am quite tired right now and my bed is looking increasingly comfortable.

In any case, things are pretty slow at the moment anyway so I'll make sure nothing major happens before you get back. Should I just assume that you'll stick along for the good of the community and be generally in the background? I promise I won't do anything that would require you to make a direct contribution, just that you would in general be "there".

Although if you want to give any general orders that would be fine too.

Not very far out of town, but away from the computer at any rate. It'll be less than 48 hours in any case; I might actually post Saturday night, since I have to cut and run after the feast to go to work Sunday morning. But yes, Bartel will generally support the community as needed as long as no major shit hits the fan. The next day he'll prepare food and water creation spells to better supply the refugees.

Okay, here's the plan. For those of you able to post this weekend, Garxon's headed out so that's over with. You now have until morning (game wise) to figure out what you want to do with yourselves. Those of you with lawful bents might want to talk to the guards outside who are now probably quite confused as Garxon just sort of walked out of town while whistling and the property damage is less than that of a minor natural disaster.

Also, everyone add say 50XP to your current total. Your total XP to date should be enough for you to be at level 6, or 15000 XP. So you should be at 15050 now.

First thing's first: FUCK YEAH, I AUTHORIZED RAPIER!

Secondly, wow, I'm gone for 26 hours and I'm still the last one to post in the game?

Alright, morning is here. People will be coming to talk to all of you soon. So where did you all stay for the night after Garxon left? Incidentally, unless you're at the Temple of St. Cuthbert, at best you're going to hear whispered rumours about what is going on mixed in with stuff about Garxon and Greyknoll.

Yes, I'm sure Eight is deriving quite a bit of amusement out of not having to suffer the consequences of a late night partying like all of the fleshbags.

Nitram told me to go to Crown Tourney, since my Barony was hosting it, and I'm the Herald. My first event doing the 'honors', and it's for CROWN.

I'm sore from setting up and breaking down. I'm tired and exhausted. And I'm very, VERY happy. VIVAT Maynard and Liande, Prince and Princess of Æthelmearc!

I was wondering if perhaps Rogue 9 hadn't been the only guy at some SCA event and thus why things were so slow this weekend.

I was busy, yes. I'm in here somewhere

I'm wearing the Baronial Arms : a black tri-peak mountain on white, with 2 black and 1 gold laurel wreath. I'll be holding a clipboard and a white baton.

EDIT: Ok, only bad shots in a couple of those... but here I am attending Court with their Excellencies

Out of curiosity, what happens if a woman wins the Crown tourney? Is her husband then the Prince-Consort?

Anyway, video of the Rendezvous at the Bridge heavy weapons tourney and melees may be found here and here, respectively. Follow the video responses for more, since they were both too long to post in one piece.
