yeah, save that I have talked to the lizard in character... he has a name etc. One can safely assume that he has been on the shoulder.

Hmmm... either dice rollers are biased towards the GMs in games, or I had better become a combat god for all of this crappy rolling right now.

Ok.

Comrade Tortoise(11), Haizu(10), Academia Nut(9), Jason Firewalker(8), your characters don't notice anything.

Cynical Cat(16), your character overhears faint rustling in the foliage around the party.

Comrade Tortoise (21)'s familiar, and Rogue9, both of your characters overhear soft voices in addition to the rustling in the bushes all around the party, speaking in Goblin. Unfortunately, neither of your characters speak Goblin.

Make your actions carefully, but as long as you plan what you do, you might dodge being surprised. Everyone post one action of what you're doing (including Grer or Volans' familiar giving a warning, I'd hope), and then roll initiative here when done.

Pity; when my dwarves have spare points of INT, Goblin is usually the first thing I pick up. Anyway, he doesn't know what they're saying, but after making his way through five levels as a dwarf warrior, I assume he should know what the language sounds like.

Holy shit does the dice roller love the DM! You got 5 18s in a single rolling session!

EDIT: And I forgot the 18s from the detection checks, so that was actually seven 18s in a single session. Either the generator is crap or the dice gods just declared that it was open season on PC.

Wow, you all need to invest in some initiative.

Keep your breeches on. It isn't open season until he starts generating to hit rolls that good.
