No, no, no. The prescription is "Fire! And lots of it!"

Meantime, I really don't know what else to do besides hand out water. Whatever he ends up doing, it'll have to wait until I get back from work.

No, that sounds like CN to me, where it's all about the joke.rhoenix wrote:I predict fire.Academia Nut wrote:That's going to need a new alignment axis to properly express things, something where one end is 'bastard'.
Lots and lots of fire.

Well, I'm going to give Rogue a few hours to say what he wants Bartel to do, and then if necessary I will just say "Fade to black, a few hours pass", I'll ask everyone present in Ashvale to post a quick summary for what they have been doing for the past little bit of time, and then I will pick it up again.
And Eight's little prank probably qualifies as a 'chaotic asshole' move.

I fail to see how it was assholish. I mean, how's Eight supposed to know Fehl doesn't like strong men. He can barely tell you fleshbags apart, for all he knows Fehl's a woman.
But yeah, Eight might end up being more Chaotic Neutral than True Neutral. We'll see how that turns out.

I hope this next sequence is interesting to you all. You can either post what you have been doing for the past little bit and wait for me to have someone say "Garxon is coming!", or do that bit yourself and finish off by asking "Who's Garxon?"

Wait, wait - I don't want there to be a fade to black for Fehl, not if there's going to be another guy and rope involved. Especially given where his attention is at right now, that could cause an incident.Academia Nut wrote:I hope this next sequence is interesting to you all. Sigh... well I could delete my last post there, but I thought that line of RP had dried up as you had plenty of time to respond but did not seem inclined to do so. I suppose I was expecting you to respond to Gring walking in with the rope once it was implied that it was going to happen. Probably a bit of a lack of communication on both our parts I suppose. If you don't want to rock the boat, just describe how you think things went after Gring interrupted presuming there was no fight. Because there wouldn't be. Gring would just get confused for a bit and then wander off if you told him to go away, seeing as he gets paid either way, unless of course you asked him to join in...
In which case we wouldn't be going there anyway

Ah, well that's fine. I was just thinking a swift-cast Ghoul Touch-enabled right hook to the jaw would have been Fehl's initial response at being interrupted in such a manner, particularly with how little he'd enjoy being interrupted at all at the moment - but if never happens in such a dramatic fashion, that's ok too.Academia Nut wrote:Sigh... well I could delete my last post there, but I thought that line of RP had dried up as you had plenty of time to respond but did not seem inclined to do so. My earlier protest was half in jest, to be honest.

And you claim to have a good alignment?
Just sayin'.

Ghoul Touch wouldn't hurt him - it would just keep him quiet until things got sorted out.Rogue 9 wrote:And you claim to have a good alignment?

I'm just thinking that Fehl and Hekka are having a good time alone, and having some random guy walk into his room unannounced at that time holding rope would likely not be assumed to be innocent.

He would have knocked. As much as a half orc kicking down the door and crying out, "Who ordered the rope?" would be amusing, it doesn't actually fit with the situation.

Alright, good - that was the part that had me worried.Academia Nut wrote:He would have knocked. As much as a half orc kicking down the door and crying out, "Who ordered the rope?" would be amusing, it doesn't actually fit with the situation.
Ok, no scene needed, then.

And only Fehl will suspect the truth. The rest either won't care or figure you changed your mind.

Well, he could keep the rope or berate his construct for screwing up the genders ("I said female, not male, get it right next time!").
#166
I suppose. Though that would just encourage Eight to continue his antics.
I certainly look forward to Eight's first meeting with Garxon though.

If you want I can throw out something about how the tavern is suddenly like an anthill kicked over, and someone mentions Garxon so you can give a reaction to what you know (freaking dice...) and possibly rouse Fehl or just leave him be so you can go watch the mayhem.
EDIT: Or you could beat me to the punch.

Sorry, you'd posted that the Spanked Tiefling had heard that he was coming in the first post so I had gone with that.
And don't worry about the dice. I'm certain the first time something useful comes along it'll be all 1's for me.

True, not like you did anything wrong, you just got me while I was looking in the wrong direction, that's all.
Also, I'm now afraid that I may have made the overture to Garxon's arrival too grand and that there's no way for him to live up to the hype. We'll see though.

Yeah! Nit's good enough to play!
Okay, there are a couple of ways to play this.
1) You guys were there already and you come out to see what all of the fuss is about
2) You're out on the road behind Garxon and miss his arrival but get in the town anyway
Any other options you can think of?

Nit and I were talking -- how do you call down a baby dragon who's flying?
Sub-sonics, of course. The low-frequency waves travel for miles, as proved by studies of elephant herds, and dragons have great hearing.

And I get ninja'd again! Oh well, its not like it matters, I keep getting ninja'd while you suggesting courses of action to you guys while you're taking them.
Also, I presume Nitram will be flying in soon, correct?
