Heh, no need to apologize Rhoenix. It is excellent that you want to go back and edit stuff that you feel can be improved. *nodnod* the more familiar you get with terra nova and such, the easier it will be. *beams* besides, out northern friend is lazy or busy, maybe both so nothing is set in stone. ^_~rhoenix wrote:Sorry guys - I'm going to edit and recreate my opening post, now that I have a little better grasp on the game universe.

[southern snob]Maybe North boy is in church. Or using his precious northern democratic rights to select between the candidate who is a part of the church and the candidate who panders to the church. Because that's what any proper god fearing northerner will do and the most important thing ever is the choice between which straight jacket to wear.[/southern snob]

Don't you have some corrupt drug ridden emirs to uphold? Or maybe a Caste system to keep from exploding you southern booted prick?

Only an 8 together?"In a scale of one to ten, one being a pair of newlyweds in the Norlight Confederacy and ten being a festival in Ashanti, I would rank the twins at seven and a half seperately and an even eight together." He concluded.

He is from Ashanti Tev, this is not a linear scale. Its almost exponential at this point, the jump from 5 to 6 is not the same as 6 to 7 and so on. An eight is pretty damned high, but after you have seen (or done) what he has done, 9 is very uncommon and ten is almost impossible to achieve outside of Ashanti and certain slave rings. :P

You should play regardless. There is a shortage of women willing to pilot walking tanks and shoot stuff, for some reason.LadyTevar wrote:I should play one of your girls...

If they're anything like Female Marines the locker room mentality is just gonna stay with an odd twist.

The part in the trash heaps is a linkage for power cables, a fairly common bit, there are actually several, the MOS will determine how good it is.
The problem with the Longrunner is a power transfer failure, the linkage will be useful for fixing it, but it's not the only thing you need.
The trap is a simple ink spraying trap, with the added caveat that it stinks like hell. It will primarily spray the hands of whoever is working on the power transfer system.

Gunnar's Bad day:
Okay, so he found the part, figured out what was wrong with the Longrunner, and in the process of trying to fix it, accidentally touched off a main power line to the structure and ended up sending a nasty bit of current through the crew compartment of the vehicle, a charge that would have potentially killed someone.
He also noticed the trap, but in trying to disarm it, thought he was about to, then at the last moment realized his mistake and got skunked.
The entire process would take a few hours, so we will fast-forward, unless anyone has any objections.

Actually given that I am relying on a school connection, I'm okay with the game speed.

I know it's weird after all we all know the armed forces are bastions of atheism and I've never expressed religious leanings before.
Oh Wait...
