Bright Lights, Bloody Nights, Big City: Vampire Game Thread

[Josh]

Finished and full, he tossed the body in the corner. He'd have Fred... no, wait... well, once the other two assholes were good and bound, they could clean up the corpse.

He looked back at the body. What a fucking waste.

She'd cost him like a damned grand.

He trotted back up the stairs.

[Bratty]

Nothing comes out of the bottle. It is gone? Already? Well the throbbing in her foot has stopped and she feels numb. In fact, she has begun to smile. Where is she? Oh, she had started towards the stairs. But ended up in a chair. The room was spinning after all.

[Cynical Cat]

Marcus began searching through Wright's house. Locked doors were merely temporary barriers. No sign of Eric.

[Bratty]

So hot in here. She swears her face is flushed. An ice cube runs over her forehead, and she opens her robe, leaning back in the chair. Watching the madness ensue in a strange surreal fashion. Funny, they are all so funny. They act like nothing ever happens. Don't they know they could have been dead? Maybe they are already, and that's why they don't care.

[Josh]

He made it up to see that his new singing acquisition was busy making love to the bottle.

It looked good on her, but he had to find the Freak so they could go plan their murders. He trotted past her.

[Josh]

He then doubled back, closing her robe.

"C'mon, you're going to bed."

Stay like that she'd get fucked in the middle of the goddamned dance floor, and he was saving that for a more special occasion.

He tugged her away from the stool.

[Bratty]

"Don't you have business to take care of, Wright?" She slurs. Her arms wrap around him as he helps her up. She hisses in his ear. "I wouldn't want you to miss it on my account" His arm looks better. A lot better. She just stares at it, a brief pause, and then she chuckles, finding it quite amusing.

[Charon]

Marcus let out a roar upon not finding Eric anywhere on that floor. Shoving people out of his way he made his way towards the door to head outside.

[Josh]

"C'mon," he said. He hoisted her up into his arms. Good god, this kid just radiated a 'come and fuck me' light. He gave everyone he passed a good 'hands-off' death glare. Getting to her room, he disregarded the doorknob, simply kicking it open with a crunching sound, and as he entered, incidentally knocked her head a good one on the door frame.

Ah well.

He tossed her onto the bed, shaking his head. What a fucking night.

[Josh]

And then he heard the roar from downstairs and jogged out of the room, bursting toward the stairway.

What now? WHAT THE FUCK NOW?

[Bratty]

She moans lightly when her head is head, but she forgets it happened moments after it does.

Tossed on the bed, she is out almost immediately, her hands resting peacefully on her forehead and stomach.

[Josh]

He jumped to the bottom of the stairway and bolted for the door. He spotted the Freak outside.

"Hey Marcus!"

What the fuck was his problem?

[Cynical Cat]

Marcus didn't see anything immediately on the street, except for the police clean up crew. He could hear Wright barrelling downstairs toward him.

[Charon]

Marcus ignored the presense of Wright as he widened his search around the area. Checking to see if his car was still there.

[Cynical Cat]

Marcus's car was noticably absent.

[Josh]

He chased after Marcus, finally catching up to him, but having a care to approach from a visible angle. If the Freak had gone nutter, it wouldn't do to overly provoke him.

"Hey, what the fuck are you doing?"

[Charon]

Marcus calmed himself. "Nothing that will not be solved quickly. Let's go deal with our other problem."

[Josh]

"Okay, lemme make a phone call on that. You fed yet?"

[frigidmagi]

Jason finially dragged himself upright. He made a note that guns hurt, they didn't kill, but they hurt and they felt worst than Ivan's backhand. He had dragged himself off into a alley and hidden under a dumpster while healing. Now he smelled terrible on top of everything else. Way to go mighty hunter.

He got up and stalked towards Wright's, the damned cops were gone so maybe he could get answers. Good thing he fed the girl before coming and at least the gunmen were a half decent meal.

He still wanted to know what the fuck happened.

[Josh]

He spotted Blue Eyes and moved quickly toward him.

"Hey, we got a situation here. Had a guy get away who saw you chomping on the guy you nailed, we gotta get a track on him and take his ass down. We're talking shit trouble if we don't clean this up in a big fucking hurry."

[Comrade Tortoise]

Leo walked through the desolate ends of the train yards, searching for signs of Cargo. There was no sign of the flesh peddler or his soldiers, but that did not mean he came up entirely empty handed. A lone figure was running from the top of one train car to the next, sometime vaulting the distance between two nearby trains. He was invisible to the perceptions of the unexpanded eye, but Father Leo perceived more than what was visible to ordinary mortals.

He gazed upon the thing, trying to guage its intentions though it's aura. At the same time, he followed it, attempting to mainain some form of concealment and working in what resembled silence

[Cynical Cat]

It was a vampire, no doubt about that. It's aura was pale and calm, with the occassional ripple of excitement. Leo's enhnanced vision was able to make out jeans, heavy duty work boots, a leather jacket, and long hair and beard. He was also not the largest man Leo had ever scene, but certainly one of the biggest.

[Comrade Tortoise]

There was a reason god allowed him to see this one... He would need following. Father leonard attempted to keep pace

[Cynical Cat]

The vampire jumped down on the other side of a train from Leo. Leo's enhanced hearing caught the sound of a quick scuffle and then silence.

[Comrade Tortoise]

He increased his pace, slipping between the train cars to see what this scuffle was, all the while attempting to ramin unseen and unheard to the level best of his ability
