5 is a lot of Resources for a young Glasswalker. Convince the Storyteller. And since it's taking place in Appalachia, for Gaia's sake, don't say your the son of coal baron.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Ok... I was trying not to give this away, but...
We are playing "RAGE ACROSS APPALACHIA", folks. That means we are going to be inside the Continental US of A, and in a place where The Weaver's hold is lax, but The Wyrm's coming on strong.
I hope this helps with Character Creation.

Jason what's the backstory for this character? Why does he know what he knows, does what he does?

seeing as the fact of the matter is I am going to go back to the character creation bit in a bit and come up with a new character.

Good think of the questions I asked and try to answer them in your head while making this character. Best of luck.

Characters Approved Thus Far: Rheonix, Cyncat, Charon.
Firewalker: I have to go to bed, so I'll look yours over in the morning. Right now the only thing I have to ask is "Do you speak English?" and "How'd you get over the Canada Border into the USA?"

It's the Canadain/US border, the most unguarded border in the world. People can walk right across and have done so no problems.

Ok. Where do I begin?
Your attributes are 5/5/3.
Your Gnosis seems a little... fucking crazy high for a homid. And that's coming from someone who doesn't know the system that well.
And you used 23 freebies. We start with 20.

That and so the GM can easily see that I'm not cheating/fucking up my math is why I pointed out my freebees.rhoenix wrote:Just for the record, this is why I record what I do with freebies and XP - just so I can easily double-check my math.

Well yes, that too - making the GM's life easier usually helps make the players' (and characters'!) lives easier in turn.Cynical Cat wrote:That and so the GM can easily see that I'm not cheating/fucking up my math is why I pointed out my freebees.
Mostly though it's because I despise having to go back and fix a character sheet after its "awakened" as a character.

That doesn't bother me. The character sheet is just an approximation of the true character, the one that lives in my brain.rhoenix wrote:Well yes, that too - making the GM's life easier usually helps make the players' (and characters'!) lives easier in turn.Cynical Cat wrote:That and so the GM can easily see that I'm not cheating/fucking up my math is why I pointed out my freebees.

Document Freebies.
Your Gnosis is VERY high. Be prepared to have a good reason in the backstory.

Document your freebies.
Fetish. The rest of the characters have been IMing or PMing me about their Fetishes, and I've been making suggestions. To have a Klaive is a high Honor, and its' rare for one to be given to a cub just starting out. So far, the only one with a Klaive at Rank One is Cyncat ... and he's got a LOT of people thinking he doesn't deserve it and plotting against him.
The only way I'll let you have a Klaive at this Rank is if it's 'empty'. No Spirit inside it, and thus no bonuses except for the Silver. You will still take the Gnosis hit for having it, so if you want to keep it you can also keep the high Gnosis.
Otherwise, talk to me and we'll find you a fetish better suited to your Rank and Auspice.

Ok... I've thought about it, and I take what I said back. Jason, if you still want the Klaive, you may have it.
But I'd still like a detail of how you spent your freebies
