[Cynical Cat]

"Fine Mr. Wright. Seems some young hooligans killed themselves all over your street."

[Bratty]

Her eyes snap open with a start as she shivers. This car is FREEZING. She hasn't heard any shots in a while. Maybe the coast is clear. Maybe the cops showed up. Time to look around.

She hops down from the boxcar and makes her way towards the warehouse, careful to be wary of her surroundings.

[Josh]

He handed money around, quite openly.

"I don't know what this town is coming to, guys. Top it off, I burned myself on a fucking stove. Oh, how are the kids Ned? Good good. Anyway, could we get some fucking meatwagons down here so these assholes stop ruining my aesthetic? I got union business to tend, y'know."

[Bratty]

She can see the red and blue from the back of the warehouse and it causes her to run, despite the cut on her foot.

[Cynical Cat]

The cops nodded and accepted the money. "'Tis a shame what the world's coming to. We'll get this cleaned up right away."

[Bratty]

"Oh thank God," Cassie exclaims out of breath as she approaches from the alley on the side of the building at full speed for as much as she can.

"Oh officer, thank God you are here."

[Charon]

Marcus looked over at the woman coming towards him and waving his arms. For a second he was tempted to step between her and her destination. For now he simply followed her out then headed back into the building.

[Josh]

He was in the middle of saying "Fucking sad. But I'm glad we have you boys around to protect us honest citizens," when the singer bimbo launched herself at a cop.

Oh christ. He rolled his eyes.

[Cynical Cat]

"There there miss," said the cop, patting her on the back. "Everything is going to be fine." He slipped a wad of Wright's bills into his pocket.

[Josh]

"She's new in town," he explained, taking Cassie's arm. "Doesn't know that sometimes these degenerates go about doing this sort of thing. C'mon Carrie," he tugged again.

[Bratty]

"Oh officer! Thank god you showed. They were shooting at us! Shooting...at us!!" Her incredulous tone is definitely indicative of her sense of outrage and fear.

"I was the one who called you. Oh...God..." She says gasping, appalled, she looks around to the street. "Look at what they did!"

And then she sees Wright. "Wright?? What happened?? Who did this to you?"

[Bratty]

"Cassie," she reminds him, her voice tapering off as though with an exhale, her eyes swallowing the dead bodies whole. In the last 8 hours, she gave her first show, had her first drink, and now has seen her first dead body. She silences, and looks up at Wright. Her eyes say a lot more than her lips can.

[Josh]

He gave her a quick 'Shut up' look. "Of course they weren't shooting at us, sweetheart. They were shooting at each other. Because they're thugs, y'see."

He lifted his arm, which looked somewhat cooked, but he'd already pushed some blood into healing it.

"Burnt myself on the stove, baby. Nothing to worry about."

Of course, that didn't cover all the bloodstains, but hey. Nobody was going to inquire too deeply.

"Anyway, I got stuff to tend to. Let's get you upstairs and back to bed."

[Bratty]

She doesn't understand the look. She shrugs off his arm and asks, "Do you really think it is safe, Wright? With all these thugs on the street?"

[Josh]

He waved his hand dismissively. "They're all fuckin' dead. They took care of themselves. Now, c'mon," he said, putting a sharper edge in his voice.

[Bratty]

She hesitates a moment. "Are you sure about that? Don't the cops want to take a statement or something? Are you sure they won't come back?"

[Josh]

"We already took care of that," he snarled suddenly, his temper clearly fraying. "Now stop asking fucking questions and get your ass back upstairs."

Fucking dames were all alike.

[Bratty]

She shivers at the snarl, shrinking in expectation of something which is not received, before scurrying away towards the door. She has to get out of here.

[Charon]

Marcus was waiting at the door when the woman arrived.

"Hey kid. Here's a tip. This place is nasty, it's ugly, and it's not gonna change in your lifetime. Get used to it, and get your paycheck."

With that Marcus turned and headed up the stairs, he needed to find Eric. In all the excitement he'd lost track of him.

[Josh]

Waving once more to the cops, he returned to the interior to see what the Freak was up to. They had murder to plan.

He knew that word would get out pretty quick that the guys who fucked with his placed ended up beheaded and had their heads launched across the block. That was going to do some serious good for his reputation on the street.

[Bratty]

She looks at the strange man at the door and his words hit closer to home than he realizes. Softly spoken, "Thanks mister..." And her mouth closes as he has left.

She looks around as the partiers begin to reform. She needs a drink. She heads towards the bar.

[Josh]

"Hey, Marcus, you get yourself cleaned up and ready, I'm gonna go get a snack."

He trotted down to the basement. With a two-front war on, he was just going to have ot make use of his resources. He needed soldiers, and quickly. What he didn't need vitally was a surplus spic dame.

In full view of the other two bound and gagged ghouls, he grabbed her hair, yanked her head back, and plunged his fangs into her neck.

In other news, Eric is conspicious by his absence.

[Bratty]

"Gin and tonic," She orders like a pro. Only her second time drinking in her lifetime, and still within a 8 hour or so span. Soon she will end up smoking and with opium pipes. What's next? On second thought..."The whole bottle" She takes the bottle when it is given and begins to head up the stairs. She needs to clean up, change, and bandage the wound.

[Charon]

Marcus searched for his ghoul. His fury growing as he didn't find him. "Eric!" he screamed out. When a reveler told Marcus to relax he broke the man's jaw with a punch. Letting out an animalistic growl Marcus began to search the area.
