Anyone interested? I'm not sure how this thing will work, but apparently it requires a large clan investment and involves a lot of multiplayer stuff. I wouldn't mind pitching in a goodly amount of meat if it's required, but my time has been a bit limited as of late because of my commute to work.

Bad news for the moment. It seems there's no way for me to transfer funds from Hagnk's to the clan stash, so I won't be able to contribute until I'm out of Ronin in 375 turns. Probably this weekend, then.

You should probably mention that to Jick as a possible suggestion for clan leaders in hardcore.

I have 4 million meat - let me know how much you need.

Alright, I burned through Ronin today and dropped a load of meat in. We're at 6.5 million now. I can try selling off a bunch of stuff to raise some more meat (my inventory really needs cleaning anyway), and the level 12 quest is still coming up for me and those items really sell well. So what's the plan?

Also, right now I'm a Turtle Tamer because I wanted to perm Astral Shell for another telescope dive and wasn't keeping up with the news on Hobopolis. Would anyone prefer I get another class?

Meh, I dunno. Is this a real-time sort of thing?

I'm a L20 Pastamancer with Advanced Saucecrafting, so I can do lots of Chow Mein as long as Wads are provided.

I'll drop 2 million meat in the coffer.

EDIT: We have enough to dig out the basement, and I'm going to front the rest of the meat to dig out the sewer! Amy, I think you have to do that, right?

Thanks, Dalton. I just got us a basement and cleared sewer grate. Unfortunately I used all my turns for today already while farming the battlefield. I won't be able to participate until tomorrow.

Also, would you mind making some wontons? I'll be getting a lot of greens, frat brats, and so on from the battlefield.

Could someone allow SirNitram to adventure in the basement? That was a shock, seeing it but no entry.

Splurged turns in the Sewers. The 'Gnaw Through The Bars For Ten Adventures' room is now open so opt for the wait for rescue. I've cooked up all my decaying goldfish livers into Oils of Oiliness, they're in the stash and could be handy. Gator Skins + either umbrella made Gatorskin umbrellas; those also got donated to the stash in case they're important. Or just fun.

The Sewer Nuggets and Bottle Of Sewage Schnapps are a mystery, and were dumped in there. Nuggets might turn into wads, and a crazy sewer dweller wanted jewels of sewage, so that might help. Don't know what to do with the schnapps; don't drink it. Nash Cromby it?

I made some sewer wads out of the nuggets. Probably a good idea for anyone who's going diving to keep some wads and oils in their inventories for whatever they might be useful for, and if you find any food items to keep those too, since I found a goldfish wearing a monocle who wanted to eat something.

Also, can't adventure in the sewers if you have less than ten turns left.

Anybody want tofu wontons? I can cook up a bunch of super salads if someone will wok 'em.

I can do some wokking. I just dumped 30 tofu wontons and 6 sausage wontons in the Stash.

If anyone has some C.H.U.M. chum, I can make some Unfortunate Dumplings, which should be the food the Goldfish wants.

Dalton, how did you reach the hot area? Is there a special adventure or trick for doing it?

Also, when you started diving the sewers, did you have to traverse the entire way or were grates already opened? I'm hypothesizing that this may be where the "multiplayer" part comes in.

I think I had to traverse the entire way, though I do recall some grates being open, some cages being gnawed through and rescuing CyborgStan from a cage.

I wasn't the first in Burnbarrel Blvd. - someone else made it in there first, but I think each area is unlocked if you kill enough hobos in town square? I don't know. Also, I've constructed 3 scarehobos so far, and I think they work in a fashion similar to the Battlefield with completed sidequests - i.e. taking out a bunch of hobos at once. We need to stock up on Hobo bits - Pastamancer skills come in handy here.

I could already reach the town square today from the first adventure on, and Burnbarrel Blvd. was already open, along with E...the cold place. I guess the number of hoboes beaten up/scared off accumulates through the entire group, like the battlefield but split amongst everybody.

What parts do you need to make a scarehobo? I have some phials left over from my telescope dive.

Richard's Redoubt keeps a tally. I think you need a few of each part for a Scarehobo.

One of each part, it seems: 1 pair of charred boots, 1 pair of frozen eyeballs, 1 hobo skull, 1 pile of guts, 1 hobo crotch and 1 hobo skin.

Last I checked, The Heap was open, and that was after I made about 5 or 6 scarehobos, so it depends on how many hobos are slaughtered.

Ol' Scratch has been defeated and Burnbarrel Blvd. is officially closed. We finally have some loot, and a new trophy! I haven't distributed anything, however.

Even though I'm just farming the Normal Hobos for their wierd shit, I'm tempted to keep one account doing little but repeating instances of Hobopolis(It can be reset, but costs 1Mil from the coffers; obviously there's a good reason to try the choice adventures which stock meat directly to the coffers in the land of Hobos). It's a fun little thing. Plus, we need to exhaustively discover every Chefstaff, craftable, and wierdness.

Or I do. I'm wierd.

Ah, so that's what the "flood sewers" thing does. Once we're done with everything, we can reflood and reopen it and do it all again. In that case, it might be a good idea to sell one of the items we get from the bosses, since those are still going for a lot, to pay for the next instance or two.

Also, I opened the forums in the clan. Nothing fancy, but a place to leave messages.

Exposure Esplanade has a meat-to-coffers adventure(At the The Frigid Air adventure, choose option two. Adds about 10,000 a go). In the Ancient Hobo Burial Grounds, Returning To The Grave has a choice to pry open the door. It'll give 10k meat to the coffers, but only ten times. Finally, the Purple Light District has the least helpful adventure, in The Furtivity Of My City. Wait For Him To leave grants around 5k meat to the coffers for ten goes.

It's probably not gonna pay for the next run, but it can help.
