I got three more 1s... the odds of 1s on all six dice rolls so far are approximately 1 in 4,000,000.
Making a test:
AHA, so it appears that if you use a capital 'D' to roll, you get a 1 automatically, whereas if you use a lowercase 'd', you get a straight roll.
That would have been nice to know before I rolled initiative.

By the by, your odds are off. Rolling the same number on multiple six-sided dice is as follows:
1: 1/6
2: 1/36
3: 1/216
4: 1/1296
5: 1/7776
6: 1/46656
7: 1/279936
8: 1/1679616
That's one out of 46,656. Unlikely, but nowhere near 1/4,000,000. In fact, you don't get into the millions until you hit 8 dice.
But hey, these things do happen. Remember that while getting the same result on multiple dice is rare, the odds of getting any result on any given die is still 1/6.

However Hotfoot, I wasn't rolling six sided dice. I rolled three 20 and three eight sided, which comes to 1 in 4,096,000Hotfoot wrote:By the by, your odds are off. Rolling the same number on multiple six-sided dice is as follows:

Moreover, as further proof:
The odds of obtaining the ten consecutive ones while rolling ten thousand sided dice, are literally 1 in ten thousand to the tenth power. That's 1 in ten thousand dectillion, or 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
I think the syntax is broken.

Um, I fail to see how that's proof of anything, other than that rolling retardedly high numbers breaks the system. Here's a more appropriate test, using proper statistical analysis methods.General Havoc wrote:Moreover, as further proof:

I'm open to suggestions as to how I got a 1 on 5d100... ten consecutive times?
Ten more 1s, this time on D100s, which is what you were rolling a moment ago. The odds here are one in one hundred quintillion. 1: 100,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Yes, if you will see my post at the top of this page, you will notice that is what I concluded.Hotfoot wrote:...let me show you something.

Way to spend eleven posts hashing out what Havoc and I determined this morning before I left for work, guys.
Anyway, Kergan is next.

Rhoenix, the goblin he blooded a moment ago was just stabbed through the neck by the cleric.

...Now, like four hours later it finally dawns on me what you meant, Rogue.
Okay, so which goblins are still alive, and where are they?

I'll have to view it when I get home, and then post afterward, since the map is blocked at work.
Alternatively, since he'll most likely simply want to hit some poor (us)suspecting goblin with his big cleaver, can I just say "lol he attacks closest goblin that's still alive?"

There is a goblin south of me, south-west of you, that is probably going to try to plant a dagger in my side next turn. You could cut him in half :D

If Kergan wants... he can make a straight run up north and help me with the three on me. The ones to my Left and to my Right are blooded... the one on the Right you can get to in 4 steps

The healer in this case is more worried about the dwarf getting killed than himself, so go right ahead. Eralis is here to get his hands dirty, not to hide in the back and occasionally cast "Bless".

I deleted my earlier post here and game action while second-guessing myself and talking to Rogue. My original action has been reinstated - Kergan's going to slap the goblin on Rauri's right.
This is mainly because Rauri's in more trouble potentially than Eralis is.

Yeah, that's fine, man. Surgery's a bitch. Besides, Kergan's turn just happened; even without the doctor's note you'd still have 24 hours.
