right and what I am saying is that if armor for small sized characters is half price then why not everything? like weapons and what not. I mean there are limitations like alchemical items and theives tools but a half sized meal should cost half as much

In any case - does anyone have a problem with me just adding the sunrods and rations to my Equipment on the character sheet, and subtracting the requisite amount of gold so we can move past this?
If yes, how much are sunrods, anyway? Are they in the normal 3.5 PG?

Thank you.LadyTevar wrote:2g each :)
Since everyone else appears to be good equipment-wise, I'll just have Kergan dash out, buy out the nearby item store, come back, and offer a smartass comment before leaving, unless there are any objections.
EDIT: Character sheet updated - Kergan now carries 11 more pounds of gear, which includes trail rations for 7 days, and 4 sunrods, which set him back 7.5 gold.

Let me know when you lot want to start paying attention. It's called the Entry Well for a reason. It isn't a doorway and a tunnel; it's a 300 foot hole in the ground.

Okay so Rogue, considering you've the book, is this "Well" entrance large enough for one person, for our whole group, or what?
Not the first time I've lost a character.

The Entry Well is, as described, 40 feet across and surrounded by a waist-high wall. There is a complex winch system, with a rope as thick as a man's arm, equipped with slings for sitting in, and capable of supporting ten heavily armored and equipped men at once.

And you're in. The room at the bottom of the well is as described. There are no light sources except for what you carry, so I assume someone's striking a sunrod. What do you do?

So, what, do you need a random encounter right here or something?

Oh yeah, I forgot about Marcon. Never mind, then; shall we call a hiatus until the end of the convention?

For latest post - using one of the Duskblade's abilities per day to sense magic in the area. The rest is him just reading the Elvish.

We at Marcon did not forget about you, Rogue. We thought of you as we walked into the 4th Ed preview panel, and as we played the Keep of Shadowfell 4th Ed teaser campaign.Rogue 9 wrote:Oh yeah, I forgot about Marcon. Never mind, then; shall we call a hiatus until the end of the convention?
For pre-gen 1st lvl characters, we kicked much Kobold booty. The Kobolds themselves were far nastier than before. "Mob Rules" is now a bonus to their Attack. Saves are now made at the End of Round, and several have a 'if saves, -this- still happens'. This gets rid of the 'Spell Cast, nothing happens as you shrug it off' mechanic. Spells -do- something now, even briefly, before you shake it free.
Good example is Sleep; you're slowed until the End of Round, and if you fail the Save -then- you're asleep. Make the save, you're still slowed for another Round as you 'shake it off'. This made dealing with the horde of Kobold Minions easier.

It's the only idea I had left at the moment. I figured it was ballsy enough to maybe work. Plus it's shave and a haircut...nobody can resist shave and a haircut!
