Because who would count all those humans killed by the nutjob who thinks he's protecting humans from metas.

Hey, to be fair, I did say IF you don't count, not that they don't count.

I still count it personally, just shows how far he fell.

Hey, but the Caprica B-Plot had Helo, my favorite, getting it on with Grace Park.

Yes, but the rest sucked.

Also? Grace Park is with us. Neener!

Amusingly, Grace Park was fucking two guys at the same time as well: Helo and Chief.

Only if she made her boyfriend/husband watch while she did it. Otherwise she's just a woman of large carnal appetities.

Nope, we've been polite and kept it to separate bedrooms and even shower well in between.

Marcao teases that it's a good thing she hits up Blackheart first, because he's got more stamina and can wear her out a bit before she goes to Elias.

Considering I have the least amount of fatalities in the game
Hey wait a minute... Hotfoot has much less then you and for that matter I think Blast at least tie you if not beat you outright for least amount of people killed.

Furthermore at least all the people Blast killed were hostile combatants killed during combat.

Hotfoot, Blast, and Tachyon all have a lower kill count than Saibot. COMBINED. Well, that last part is debatable, but still, the point stands.

Let's not forget that in the sequence where Argent mind raped Saibot, you were decapitating people left and right as you cut a bloody swath to her location. Oh yeah, that screams restraint.

As for the rest of this thread, yes, it does, but it's not a bad thing, yes, the B-plot can shove it, 'scuse me while I do a little dance.

(Here we go folks, Luminos version 3. This version I'm much happier with, after discussing some of the details with B4.)
(EDIT version 3.1: Changed the separate powers Light Control and Thermal Control to simply be Photon Control, and noted the two common uses of such.)
(EDIT version 3.11: Edited fluff descriptions of his eyes and background, and fixed spelling of "Jiu Jitsu.")

Real Name: Alexander Remus Gordon

Aliases:: Luminos

Basic Description: Male, approximately 20-35 years old, 6' tall, athletically slender build, weighs 180 pounds. Black hair, Caucasian complexion with vaguely Persian traits, irises of eyes are as black as his pupils, with no perceptible difference between the two. When his abilities are active, his irises effectively disappear into the whites of his eyes with only his pupils standing out, though this does not impair his vision.

Origin: Was an orphan of unknown parents, left in Alberta, Canada to an orphanage named Tamsen House. Manifested his abilities fairly early on, but kept it low-key until his college girlfriend was in danger. From there, he decided to try to help others.

Species: Unknown. Near-metahuman genome, with puzzling differences.

Psychology: Cheerfully offensive at times, but usually easygoing, and easy to get along with. Curious, and eager to learn, though has a dry wit.

Notable Skills: Subject has reached 9th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and received high awards for both forms and tournaments. Subject has a talent for quick thinking, displaying quick reasoning abilities. Subject has reached a Master's degree from Cal Tech in Electromagnetic Physics, writing his Master's thesis on photons, and their ability to communicate the light and heat necessary for life as we know and understand it.

Power: Photon Control
Subject has displayed control over photons, manifesting most often as follows:

- Light Control: Subject has displayed capability of changing, creating, and nullifying light sources with a fine degree of control.

- Thermal Control: Subject has also displayed a fine degree of control over temperature (or lack thereof), most often displayed in an area around him, though has been noted as projecting this control in an area not containing himself.

To try to explain Rheonix's horribly roundabout way of stating his character's ability:

His character manipulates photons. Photons, as we know, are carriers of electromagnetic radiation. That includes ultraviolet, infrared and visible light.

His powers are done by absorbing and injecting absorbed photons into objects and the area around him with fine control. Doing this he can remove the light of an object as well as heat from it. In a person this could cause hypothermia, or worse.

By injecting absorbed photons back into an object or the area he can cause the reverse effects.

And here I interpreted our earlier conversation to mean "just start as separate heat & light control, and we'll go from there later on."

In that case, I've edited the 3.x character sheet, and annotated the change.

Basically you're starting with heat and light control and as powers advance you can gain more control over other aspects of it.

But the way you were writing it, it was confusing to others.

True - that's why I changed it to what it is now, to show that those two are what he's had experience and experiments with so far, and to allow room for growth. It was needlessly roundabout before.

You know lots of things can get the drop on Blackheart. Guys swinging fists when he's got the death rays charged up and expects trouble aren't one of them.

But would that list of things that can get the 'drop' include someone who has battle foresight?

Then he's a fucking moron with battle foresight. He's chosen to attack me by standing in front of of my death beam shooting eyes and swinging his fist at said death beam shooting eyes when said eyes are crackling with death beamy energy. Blackheart's expecting trouble and he's swinging a fist not only right where Blackheart can see him, but right into the path of the flash vision.

If he'd been smart he wouldn't be right in front of Blackheart unless he was very well protected from his flash vision. Shooting him from the side, for example. would be a great choice.

Making the post here. I'm dropping out of Heroes. The main reason for my dropping is that I've lost interest in my character.

B4, you're free to do with Legacies as you will. Don't forget that he's still carrying Saibot's dagger so someone can grab that up.

This may be belaboring the obvious point, but you can simply make a new character, as Hotfoot did.

If you've lost interest in the game entirely though, then I'm not sure what to say.

It's dull. Slog through corridor after corridor instead of you know, fighting evil. Would comic books sell if you had two issues worth of slogging through the empty cubicles of the Hydra base?

Let me argue by analogy for the situation regarding fisty.

You have a knife. You know the elevator in front of you is going to open and that a guy with a gun is there. You know he's expecting guys with knives and guns to try and kill him the moment the door opens. You decide to stand right where he'll be pointing the gun. What will happen?
