Cargo sneered and watched Leo leave."Yeah, you keep on telling yourself that, pussy." And turned around. "Fuck! That bastard ran off on me again." He tested the air and then sprinted off into the night.

Marcus looked around the corner, just to make sure nobody would be stupid enough to empty a clip into him if he stepped into the open.

[Josh]

Great, Chicken Boy. Contribute to a Masq breach by letting the asshole get away. He turned around to go back and make sure none of his were bailing out.

What a clusterfuck night.

The guards weren't interested in Marcus. They were waiting for their boss to get back and transact some business.

[Charon]

Marcus stepped up to the guards, smiling non-chalantly as he looked over the others. "Ah, I was wondering when I would run into you again." He looked down over the group of slaves. "Lemme guess, Cargo is needed here for a transaction?" Licking his lips Marcus sighed and walked over to Wright. "Any good pickings?"

[Josh]

He shrugged. "Couple are halfway decent." He made a snap decision, pointing at the latina. "The spic and the bloody one are mine, so's the nigger."

Shot his bargaining all to hell, but he wasn't going to let the Freak just waltz in and snatch up his choices.

[Charon]

Marcus looked them over. "Damn, that's what I get for showing up late." Marcus looked up at the thugs. "Boss won't mind if I look over the merchandise while he's gone will he?"

[Cynical Cat]

Cargo came back five minutes latter, dragging the blonde. "He's a fiesty one. You two, pick him up and carry his lily white ass. Now let's do some business."

[Comrade Tortoise]

"This I cannot stay for. Degenerate slime" Leo sneered. He would have to kill that slaver at some point. Maybe eat him no... he couldnt think such thoughts. Though the justice would be poetic... he forced himself to banish the thought

With that, he continued his sweep of the area for clues, staying out of their visual range. Atonement would certainly be needed for this evening... he would have to stop a bank robbery... or something

[Charon]

Marcus was walking through the other slaves, looking over them. So far there was nothing too promising in his eyes. Strong yes, but few had the will he required. Looking back at Cargo he examined the man. He certainly wasn't the fool he'd taken him to be at first. And that good first impretion was something he'd never get back.

"1,200 for the blonde runner."

[Cynical Cat]

"Done," said Cargo. "Give me the money and whitey is yours."

[Josh]

Chicken Boy, predictably, was all talk and no action. Well, that was one less hassle, and he could just tell the archons that the little clanless bastard had bailed on them. Nobody expected anything good from caitiff anyway. He pondered bidding up the blond just to fuck with the Freak, but decided they didn't have the time to waste.

He dug around for some cash. "Okay, package deal for the nigger, the spic, and the asshole," he said to Cargo. He paused. "Discount for the asshole? He's a bit torn up."

Hell, it was worth a try.

[Cynical Cat]

Cargo smiled. "You break him, you bought him."

[Josh]

He contrived to sigh again. "Fine, 2,600 for the lot."

[Cynical Cat]

"Done," said Cargo.

[Josh]

Shit, he should've tried for 2,200 at that rate. He glanced over at Blue Eyes. "See any you like? I could front ya."

He spotted the mortal with the broken leg again, and an idea occurred to him, a malicious smile spreading on his face. "I'll give ya four hundred for the limper." he said to Cargo.

[Cynical Cat]

"Done."

[Josh]

Oh, this was going to be fucking great. Now he just had to find Chicken Boy. He rubbed his hands together gleefully.

He glanced over at Blue Eyes. "Well?"

[Charon]

Marcus nodded and pulled out the cash for the deal. Handing it to Cargo he got a firm hand on his charge's shoulder again.

Marcus looked back at Wright. "You're shelling out 400 for a meal?"

[Josh]

"Not a meal. Tag along, you'll get a kick out out of this."

He started counting out money while he waited for Blue Eyes to shit or get off the pot.

[Charon]

Marcus chuckled darkly, from the looks of the three he'd just bought it looked like Wright was his kind of vampire.

"Sorry, I've got to keep an eye on my thrall. Don't want to risk him running off again..."

Marcus paused for a moment in thought, then reeled back with his foot and slammed it into the blonde runners leg. A sickening crack could be heard as the leg snapped, a simple fracture, but a fracture none the less.

The blonde went down with a scream he cut off with his own tongue. Marcus meanwhile watched him for a moment, nodding, then tossed another $50 to Cargo. "Make sure he doesn't limp off."

Marcus looked back at Wright. "Nevermind, took care of the problem. Lets go."

[Josh]

He smiled. Marcus knew how to handle his kine. "Yeah, just a sec. Hey Cargo, keep an eye on the others. I gotta go talk to somebody. Hey Blue Eyes, you get one picked out, I'll spot you when I get back."

He had seen how the caitiff was eyeing the women. Yup, this was going to be a swell evening.

Dragging the limper along, he headed out into the darkness. "Hey Chicken Boy!"

[Charon]

Marcus followed after Wright, a small smile on his lips. Though he did seem to get a bit confused for a moment. "Chicken Boy? What, does he fu-..." Realization dawned and Marcus squished his nose in distaste. "And you hang out with this guy?"

[Josh]

Wright adopted a solemn, sanctimonious tone. "Hey, it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round," he said.

After a moment, he couldn't hold it anymore and started snickering.

[Comrade Tortoise]

"yes" said the priest as he stepped out from behind a building. "I am older than you, so dont call me boy, also, I raely eat chickens"
