Ok... so the 'split' I mentioned could have been any of those *sigh*. Do we know which direction they're likely to be in? North? South?

Hrmm... I see three areas to the south where multiple lines connect: WTC, Brooklyn BR/CityHall, and Broadway/Nassua. Areas with great history behind them, theatres with who-knows-what in their basements, and the WTC complex with the huge underground parking garages. If I were the Freaks, that would be prime property.

OK... I've spoken to B4, and figured out how to find them. HOPEFULLY somone ICly has a map of the subway so we can use the knowledge he's given me.

PMed it to the two 'party leaders', Nit and Cyncat, since they're supposed to be in charge here, and I'll post what Lei found after a couple of you guys do something in the thread.

Blinking red lights mean bomb or trip wire. Which is usually attached to a bomb.

Blinking red lights on a bomb you're attaching to a tripwire in the dark? That's really stupid. On rushing trains is much more likely. And scary.

Well, in a subway, you're more likely to hear the train rumbling along before any lights would blink. The red lights in the tunnel serve as a warning for conductors that there is a train ahead of them. If you see them, you slow down and stop until they're not there anymore.

OOC, it likely means the way is blocked by a train. You can still go through, but if the freaks take Fry's opinion of a subway train*, there will be some rough going.

*It's a mobile apartment with no rent!

Either that, Hotfoot, or the second likely option would be the tell-tale LED on a video camera. Because conductors put blinking red lights above turnstiles and where people sell tokens... and trains frequently travel down the stairs and buy tokens before going to the next station...
