Wright pulled the gun off line at the last second, not really because he wasn't ready to shoot, but mostly because Chicken Boy had, by accident or on purpose, drifted into his line of fire.

Not that he cared about backshooting Chicken Boy, far from it, but it'd be a waste of lead on a useful tool right now.

The kindred came closer. Those with enhanced sense could make out his features easily. A thick main of chestnut hair and beard marked with a a few streaks of brey. He was tall, well over six feet and powerfully built. He wore a heavy overcoat over a work shirt and jeans. We wore workboots that had seen better days.

Okay, he was big, but that didn't mean shit for kindred. A small guy like Wright could pick up big guys and toss them around.

Jason repressed a snarl of impatience. He wouldn't have answered questions this vague at all and doubted this would either.

"A new hunter is here. He kills, messily and does not feed, he is thought to be here in this area. Have you seen or heard anything about this? Has an area become more dangerous has of late?" Jason said stepping forward.

A figure stepped out of the shadows about 50 feet away. The figure was dressed quite immaculatly, if a bit old fashioned. A fedora hung low over his face as he stepped forward.

"From what I hear, they are here at the behest of the Archons. Surely you would not wish to get in the way of such delicate matters that have brought about the attention of the top tier, am I right Haakon?"

As the figure stepped into light it became obvious who it was, Marcus Silveti, the local Lasombra Antitribu, for that matter the only recorded one in the Eastern United States.

"And if you are looking for information gentlemen, I suggest you quit pointing a gun at our friend here, it's a bad thing to be at each others throats while the sabbat are still out there. Besides, I'm sure your little pea shooter wouldn't work very well against a kindred of Haakon's status." Marcus smiled, it wasn't often a browning was refered to as such.

Wright was dubious. Marcus was a freak, a 'renegade' from the old country clan that had created the Sabbat. That alone made him untrustworthy as all hell.

But he was legit in town.

"They'll want to talk to you," he said authoritatively. "C'mon."

Marcus raised his eyebrows. "Oh? I was unaware that the Gangrel had left the Camarilla. Huh, the things you miss. You do not have to answer to the every beck and call of the archons, no one would expect that of you. But at the moment you are interfering with their investigations, something I am sure they would not be happy to hear." Marcus kept his face straight, Gangrel were not exactly known for their cool tempers, especially the more rabid ones.

Haakon laughed. "What makes you think I have not made my introductions? You are quite the fool, since I mentioned the Scourge's name a mere minute ago. I answered the questions you asked regarding what I had seen. Now why should I let you live for challenging me in what is not your territory and speaking to me as if I was a dog?"

Marcus smiled as he shifted under Haakon's glare, his hands folding infront of him, keeping the sword at his side out of easy sight.

"I do not speak as your better Haakon, I simply speak of the rules that you and I must follow from time to time if we wish to continue our unlives."

Marcus spared a glare at the hotshot as he continued to piss off the Gangrel, great, just great, they're gonna loose maybe 3 good Camarilla soldiers.
