After Kerrigan walked out, Adam turned to Galadriel and spoke: "Thank you, good Lady, for your arbitration at these proceedings. By your leave."

He and his wife stood and walked out, still with joined hands.

When they get back to their little ship, they find that the Vulcans have refueled it, and get in, turning switches so the communication board comes to life. After adjusting it to point toward 242's long range antenna, he punches in a text message:

"RACK;; 242 : CIC: Zerg temporarily under control. ;; 242 > A'millian Prime : CIC : Imperial invasion possible, but unlikely.", then encrypts and digitally signs it and sends it off as a single datagram. His staff at headquarters would know what to do next.

They leave the communication system powered up for a few minutes to wait for the automatic ack signal from the base.

"That went better than I thought," the Lady comments while waiting.

"Indeed." he answers, and then they deactivate their body shields on the way to the shuttle's store to grab a drink.

Soon, they hear the panel's beep as it received the acknowledgement packet, and come back from the hold to drink their apple juice and turn the system back off.

He is about to turn off the master switch when it beeps again: another message has arrived with battle encryption as a single digitally signed datagram:

"NACK;; CIC : 242: Local Trollish attack probable imminent;; RST"

The signature matched that of 242 OIC and had a valid timestamp. It was an authentic message, and there would be no further long-range communication either way, as per standard military procedure when communications may be monitored under siege.

They should not send back orders, however it would not be necessary. All the commanders would have the data and know what to do without explicit orders.

"Well, that explains Detritus' sudden departure," Adam says after reading the message.

They both sit down, and set the com panel on promiscuious mode receive only to see what else is going on on open frequencies or in case any further datagrams from the base come in.

"Very well," Ra thought back, figuring Kerrigan was still listening. "I'll take my leave of you, and wait aboard my ship as it heads back to the captial. I agree, this is hardly the best place to have any sort of meeting."

The Goa'uld then nodded respectfully, and turned around, heading out the meeting hall. Galadriel frowned at Ra as he disappeared, and sighed.

"The meeting did go better than even you had expected, Lady Galadriel," said PM Salar, the Vulcan walking up beside the elf. "Though the risk was immense, all it took was for these leaders to sit down together and vent out their irrational anger. Otherwise, I think, their venting would have been in the form of bloodshed. War has been averted."

"It has," nodded Galadriel, "for a time. I fear this peace may not last for long, for you have seen that Ra, the Goa'uld, and this Kerrigan are somehow scheming together. But it is foolish to worry about such matters; I have done all I can right now."

"Indeed," the Vulcan answered. "The Imperial one has been publically embarrassed, but from my observation, neither side of the argument truly budged. The Imperials kept their savage weapons, while the opposition - the shifty Goa'uld and the A'millians - reasserted their strong desire for self determination."

"The A'millians want self-determination, Salar, but the Goa'uld want an empire of their own. Ra, whom I have known for a time now, cannot be trusted."

"With the meeting over, what would your next logical course of action be?" asked the Vulcan.

"Investigation," Galadriel stated. "I want to know what Ra has been up to."

After a few more minutes of hearing nothing of consequence, they seal the airlock and decide to leave planet Vulcan.

They strap into the cockpit seats and the panels and engines come to life as they flip switches and press buttons.

"We are clear for take off." the Lady says, deploying the extended wings and SIF, and Adam releases the break, bringing the thrusters up gently so the shuttle starts to accelerate down the runway.

As it gets to the end, he gently pulls back on the stick and the shuttle starts to climb into the sky, gaining altitude.

After a minute, the Lady checks over various gauges and reports "we are go for main engine start."

The Lord presses some more controls, then pulls the ship to point straight up. She retracts the wings as he dials up the thrust. Then he presses a button on the side of the stick which responds with a low beep and they are pressed back into their chairs as the shuttle climbs up, accelerating more and more.

After over five minutes of the inertial forces, he finally lets off the sublight engines. She turns the switch to deploy the warp nacelles, and seconds later, they light up, bringing the ship back to warp speed, heading for Starbase 242 to see what the Trollish Imperium is going to do next.

Meanwhile, on deep space....

Three Venator-Class Star Destroyers and an Imperator-Class Star Destroyer made a rendesvouz with The Trollish Goliath-Class Battleship Celestial Vengeance during their course to Starbase 242. "Celestial Vengeance," the captain hailed, "this is Captain Matthew Sorin of Imperator-Class Star Destroyer Warhammer. Our AEGIS sensor network indicates that the A'millans are bolstering their defenses on the Starbase. Furthermore, we have recorded the A'millan's unprovoked attack against your frigate, so it has been proven that the A'millan Star Empire is an aggresor nation; it would be better if we take caution and be ready for whatever ambush they may set up for us while we're chasing the Genator II. Henceforth, We offer these ships to reinforce your task force."

The Celestial Vengeance was already accompanied by Captor and Hunter; two Interdictor-Class Picket Ships. However, it would make an improportional formation when a battleship was only escorted by two small picket ships. Despite the highly powerful Imperial firepower and shield strength, there was still a "functionality gap" between a battleship and the two picket ships; the Star Destroyers were there to fill the gap. Captain Sorin waited for the reply....

'Whats the plan commander?

Tactical retreat, theres no way we're getting in there. Get us back to the Astroid, we can watch the fireworks from there.

'Sir I must protest this! We have the firepower to get in there!'

Fine! You orginise a raid then! If this goes to hell that it's you who I shoot first!

The Celestial Vengeance, escorted in by her imperial allies begins the scan, more ships have appeared in the system, the Genator still in Orbit, smaller ships skittering around, clearly ready for battle and clearly nervous about when the enemy might appear.

On the orders of Flotsam, who had decided to take part in the operation, the Fleet Command had ordered the fleet to half speed at the edge of the system, Shard, TIE fighters and Bouldar bombers spew into the vacumn, ready to fling themselves into the midsts of battle, each squadren checking in with fleet command running through the final checks

'On my mark, begin the assault! I want the Genator disabled with the ion cannons, bomb it's engines to hell as well, do not let that bastard escape! I know we don't need it anymore, but by the gods of Celesti, I will have my revenge on that damn ship!'

The fleet holds it's ground, waiting for the final order to be given, ready to unleash havoc upon the emerald world ahead of them

Xizor News Network: Evening Headlines

The news anchor spoke, "yesterday, the A'millan Star Empire had committed an unprovoked aggression against the Trollish Imperium and the Galactic Empire. A cloaked A'millan cruiser, which was believed to be the Biolaser-equipped Genator II of the Guardian Wars, fired its missiles at a Trollish Frigate. Records show that the A'millan cruiser was cloaked before firing its missiles, so the incident indicates that the cruiser had been preparing an ambush. The A'millan cruiser also fired its beam weapon at the Imperial Interdictor, as well as destroying several TIE fighters. This is what have been recorded by our CGT and visual sensors."
Destructionator XV wrote:Destructionator Command Ship
Genator II
Deep space

"Thirteen, they are in range." the Will Riker android said.

"Fire missiles and execute jump."

The missiles streak out of the seemingly dead ship at incredible speed. It would take mere seconds for them to impact the Trollish shuttles.

Shortly after the missiles clear the tubes, the ship comes back to life, its FTL jump drive spins up.
Kreshna Aryaguna Nurzaman wrote:They were too busy in the skirmish so they missed two starships had jumped out of Hyperspace. One is 600 meters-long --about the same size with the Genator; another is one mile-long. Both were dagger-shaped, and everyone knew that two ships had much greater power than any A'millan warships.

Because they were Imperial ships.

A broadcast emmitted from the larger ship. "Genator II, this is Captain James Kaplan from Imperator-Class Star Destroyer Valiant of the 341th fleet. You have been captured by Interdictor-Class Picket Ship Intrepid's gravity well. Both our CGT and regular sensors recorded that you were firing at the Trollish Frigate without provocation --you fired first. We request that you cease the aggression immediately."
Destructionator XV wrote:The Genator's heavy biolasers turn their massive destructive power right at the Interdictor's bridge, ripping through its shields in seconds, then her antimatter missiles impact the unprotected tower, instantly turning it to a molten mess of twisted metal. Simultaneously, light laser cannons destroy that TIE fighter on her six.
Anyone watching the recording should get the message clear: the A'millan Star Empire is an aggressor nation that attacked its neighbor without provocation. It was clear that the A'millan drew the first blood; first, they cloaked themselves, and then they fired their missiles at a travelling Trollish frigate. Xizor News Network is a multinational media conglomerate, and the news was broadcasted to all and every space-faring nation as well as throughout the Empire itself.

The news anchor continued, "The Viceroy of Imperial Mandate, Darth Kreshna, has not made any comments on this incident, while the A'millan Star Empire itself had refused to comment anything. Furthermore, it is quite difficult to contact the A'millan representatives since they withdrawn all their citizens from Darth Kreshna's Death Star Three shortly before the terrorist bombing."

Aboard his personal flagship, the Executor-Class Command Battleship Phoenix, Darth Kreshna was also watching the news; he was on travel to Coruscant, to meet the President personally to discuss the recent development at the Imperial Mandate of Milky Way --and probably his own resignation. Kreshna was thinking; if the news did not change the President's decision, then he had no idea what possibly could.

Kerrigan's ship suddenly jumped away with the same screaming sound it had made when it arrived, carrying her and her minions back to parts unknown. But one small, unnoticable creature remained. Floating in the void, the creature began to reach out psychic tentacles, until finally it made contact with the other creature that had been left on the planet far below. The small creature left on Vulcan appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary insect, but it was in fact a communications device; one which had slowly and carefully sneaked aboard Ra's ship, where now it awaited his arrival.

Ra's Tel'tak rose from the Vulcan surface, quickly hurtling into orbit. The Goa'uld leaned back in his throne-like seat as the ship entered hyperspace, leaving Galadriel and her Vulcan allies behind. Part of Ra wished he could have spoken to her in person, but most of Ra's mind now sought a means to simply put her behind him.

"It's too late for that now," Ra reflected. "The next we meet will be the day she kills me, I just know it."

Galadriel stood solemnly on a balcony, watching the Vulcan sunset vanish into night. Though no emotion came on her face, the elf was clearly saddened, and for the first time since the War's darkest days, she was worried.

The elf saw Ra sitting inside his ship through her divinations, and felt his emotions. Part of the Goa'uld regretted what he had become, but now it was but a shadow of his former self. His ambition was all he had now.

Galadriel even felt him sense her somehow in his mind, and she felt him wanting to reach out to her. But what kind of monster was he now? What was he planning?

The Goa'uld frowned as he felt her trying to sense his intentions, and at that the immortal elf pulled away, letting him fade from her view. Ra sat back in his chair, sullen and silent.

Galadriel sighed slowly, and continued looking out at the barren plains of Vulcan, as its sun finally vanished behind the rocks.

"All has become chaos," Galadriel spoke. Though she didn't see Irene Patterson walk up behind her, she felt her presence. "My friend, I am the last to abandon hope. And I will not, here. Yet old allies seek to plant their blades in each others' backs. The A'millians whom I so trust and the Imperials whom once saved us now march toward war.

A war I feel powerless to prevent. As leader of the Alliance, I felt I was able to do something, to create and nourish a noble thing. The Alliance was like a garden, young and beautiful in its flowers and life within. But now that garden is choked and thrown into miscare, and I feel as if I had been tending a glade of weeds. The Guardians were not my only desire for nourishing unity among the galaxies, no, friend, it was but a secondary need, a catalyst do draw them togehter.

It was my hope that a greater peace could be made, and all the Alliance realms could work together as brothers and sisters. And then I sat in the conference, watching as the leaders shouted at each other, unleshing years of hidden ire, and I could say nothing. I felt powerless to stop it, as if Entropy itself were my foe..."

Starbase 242

Tired officers stand around the tactical situation table, watching as Trollish and Imperial invaders move slowly closer to the planet from the edge of the system.

"Send to commander, Trollish:" Admiral Wise ordered, "you are ordered to withdraw from this system immediately, or this incursion will be treated as an act or war."

She nods to the communications officer who starts sending the message, repeating every thirty seconds.

Meanwhile, back in the Imperial home galaxy....

Despite the President's decision to not reinforcing the Imperial Mandate of Milky Way, the bombing aboard the Death Star had enraged many of the Imperial population, most notably the patriotic ones. However, there were not many ways for those people to vent up their rage; some people wanted to go to the Death Star and organize protest in front of the A'millan Embassy, but the embassy had been closed. Some wanted to boycott A'millan products, but there were not many A'millan imports in the Empire, since Imperial products were already superior anyway.

However, a cartoon artist just found a way to express his condemnation to the A'millan terrorist attack.

First, his works were only published in a small, local planetary magazine, but thanks to the internet... er, holonet, the cartoons reached popularity overnight, and soon made their way to the headlines, being circulated not only within the Galactic Empire, but spreaded to other nations as well. There were cartoons; cartoons depicting Lord Adam in the most insulting way possible. There was a picture of Lord Adam with a bomb as his head, there was also another picture depicting Lord Adam as a pedophile. The message was clear: the A'millan Star Empire was a primitive society based on absolute monarchy that promoted violence and terrorism.

"Would you look at this shit?" Meryetre spat. She shook her head at the propaganda pouring all over the HoloNet, and clicked her terminal off.

"The Empire is full of chauvanistic sheep, Meryetre," a smooth voice answered.

The Jaffa spun around to see none other than Madar standing in a corner, her face obscured by a black cowl.

"Madar!" she exclaimed. "If the Goa'uld catch you here-"

"I'd kick their asses," Madar smirked.

Meryetre laughed, and gave the Dark Jedi a hug. Madar squeezed her slightly, and then stepped back to a respectful distance.

"It's been awhile," Madar said.

"It has," answered the Jaffa. "What have you been up to?"

"Oh, I've conquered a few primitive human-inhabited worlds, and gotten the attention of some backwater fucks known as the Lucien Alliance," Madar chuckled. "I thought I'd come visit you while I'm in the sector."

"And why would you even be in the RGE's core sector?" Meryetre prodded, crossing her arms.

"Stealing nukes," Madar said flatly.

Meryetre's eyes widened.

"Ra doesn't need them, and Baal's running low trying to evade the Imps," explained Madar. "He's used a bunch of them on his little campaign of extermination against the Free Jaffa Nation."

"Bastard," Meryetre muttered. "Ra won't kill him like he rightfully deserves. Ra hates Baal, but won't kill the monster because the two Goa'uld still hold to that little pact that all System Lords unite in a time of crisis. He wants his ships and nukes in case war with the Empire comes."

"He won't have those ships for long," Madar said darkly. "I'm going to kill Baal."

Meryetre blinked, and then said, "Don't let me stand in your way, friend. By all means, scatter his ashes across the cosmos."

"It's only the beginning of what I have planned, Meryetre, but I'm afraid I can't tell you much more," said the Dark Jedi. "I should probably leave now, before they catch us together."

"Take care of yourself," Meryetre smiled.

"I always do, my friend," Madar smirked. With that, she vanished in a flash of blue light.

"Asgard transporters..." the Science Advisor murmured. "She's good."

Far away from Vulcan, in the space over Tais II...

With a sound that would have sounded suspiciously like a pop (had it happened in atmosphere), the first Loyal Zerg unit appeared. It was unmenacing, to the untrained eye, appearing as no more than a simple Overlord, the controller of other Zerg, but careful observation could reveal much more.

This Overlord was one of approximately a hundred or so that had been dispatched from the nearest Zerg planet. When the rogue Cerebrate had splite from the Swarm, he had taken with him the exact knowledge of where Tais II orbited. To compensate for that, special Overlords had been grown and dispatched, with instructions to "radio in" to the main Zerg Swarm when one of them actually found the eluding planet. This Overlord was relatively lucky; some of its brothers had materialized inside of the system's star. With an inaudible (even if it had been in atmosphere) signal, it called the rest of the strike force to its position.

"You're taking quite a risk, Madar," Buscan frowned. He took a seat at the controls of the Dark Jedi's stolen Al'kesh, and crossed his arms as the raven-haired woman looked absently out the ship's window.

"I know that, but the opportunity is so great!" she smirked. "Darth Kreshna has fled the galaxy with his tail tucked firmly between his legs, Ra is being a coward as usual, and the A'millians are of no concern. Right now, the Imperial forces here are basically sitting around, hoping their leader return and give them orders. Whoever is in command of DS III right now won't expect a crack group of Darksiders coming in and doing what we're planning."

"I know all that," Buscan glared. "But a bunch of Ra and Baal's nukes aren't going to be enough to destroy the Imperial fleet!"

Madar walked over, and leaned over him, saying, "I don't plan on destroying their fleet. I plan on decapitating their leadership and taking those ships for myself. Who would dare to oppose me?"

"Every last one of them."

"I think you're wrong," Madar said, stepping back to the window. "How many times have the Imps shown the willingness to follow whatever Moff or Admiral they had over them? Change in leadership is common as fuck in the Empire, save at the very top. You and I know that."

"Perhaps you're right," Buscan sighed. "But I still think you're letting ambition cloud your judgement. It will take a lot more than bringing the local Imperials under your banner to assume your desired place as Dark Lady of the Sith."

"You're missing the point," Madar chuckled. "Gaining the Imperials will not only show them that I mean business; it'll also show them that the present Sith Lord is a punk. I'd say they already know that, by how Ra and Lord Adam shouted him down, but the loss of all he owns to a comparative upstart will show the Empire which way the wind is blowing, so to speak."

"And he has a whole bunch of ancient Sith knowledge stored up in DS III, not just in the Sith Academy on Coruscant," Nica added.

"Precisely. With the victory we would become the new rulers. With the Knowledge, in time, we could become a new Sith Order."

"I just hope it all doesn't blow up in your face," Buscan smirked grimly.

"It won't if you're all with me," Madar answered.

Buscan then put his hand in Madar's, and said, "I'm with you."

Nica added her hand with a nod, and chimed, "And I'm with you as well."

"Good," Madar answered. "We've got Ra's nukes, all we need is Baal's. Set course for his planet."

TIWS Goliath, Enroute to the Amorphius Astroid Belt

Theres a knock at the door to the Commanders main chaimbers, the only people who should be doing such knockings are the ships commander or anyone who has an urgant messege

Enter

A man does indeed enter, a member of the KST Intelligence branch, they are the eyes and ears for the trolls in places where an eight foot tall walking boulder would cause comment

'I bring grave news, m'lord'

Whose?

The man looks perplexed, jokes were not his fortai, and he clearly did not understand it. 'I mean m'lord that we have lost contact with Task Force Celesti, we have been attempting to contact them for some three hours now, our scouts are unable to penetrate the area via conventional drive, and they do not have L-space capabilities'

Send a messege to the Belt, they are to deploy a small group out to the last known location of the task force, make it a group with teeth mind, when they do find it, they may need assistence

'Of course my lord. We have aslo received a messege from one of our operatives on the mapping runs, they have seen no other A'millian held terriotories in this galaxy, they have not expanded beyond that world, all their resources would have to come from their home galaxy if the planet here was nutralised'

Intresting, you would think they would have gone out to gain more territory, like we and the Goa'uld did. It's amazing how many untapped astroid belts there are. Next thing you know we'll be finding a world turtle flying about the place.

'Indeed m'lord, I shall send the messege to HQ right away'

Has there been any news of the fleets from our own galaxy? They must be arriving soon

The man looks down at his datapad, checking some figure 'From what I understand, the first elements of the Pan-Galatic Defense Force will be arriving in our space within the next hour, we have already set out patrol courses and procedures on what they are to do when they arrive. I have checked their inventory as well sir... It appears they are bringing some new toys along'

Detritus grins, all of his diamond teeth glittering like a disco ball Excellent
"Why hello! Could I intrest you in some giant bonsai trees?"

War room

"Commander, Trollish:" the communications officer continued repeating, "this is A'millian starbase 242. You are ordered to withdraw from this system immediately. Repeat: withdraw immediately."

A few seconds later, he looks up to the Admiral: "no response, sir."

"Range?" the Admiral asked.

"One point three AU, closing at sublight. Twenty one minutes to fleet tactical range, Admiral."

"WPTs?"

"Armed and locked. Two minutes to contact at this range."

"Send to commander, Trollish: You have thirty seconds to withdraw or we will open fire."

The communication officer goes back to repeating the new message.

OOC: just a note: Imperial-Class Star Destroyer is not a correct designation; it is an Imperator-Class Star Destroyer, for Saxton's sake!

Destructionator XV wrote: "Send to commander, Trollish: You have thirty seconds to withdraw or we will open fire."

Aboard the Imperator-Class Star Destroyer Warhammer.....

The Empire caught the message too. Captain Sorin frowned. The A'millans were defiant indeed, he thought. Maybe they would finally learn the price of defiance when a Star Destroyer BDZed one of their pitiful, 120 planets into molten slag.

However, tempted as he was, he decided to not reply the message; the task force was led by the Trolls, and it was all up to Celestial Vengeance how to respond.

The A'millan was a treacherous nation; sided with the Guardians during the Empire/Guardian War. Unlike Darth Kreshna, Sorin never truly believed the A'millans at all. Darth Kreshna came with all the good will; a multilateral cooperation to ensure peace and stability in the region, but look what the A'millan had done to him!

However, without the Guardians, the A'millans were weak indeed. A'millan phasers --albeit more powerful than the weapon of the same name from an old TV series from Earth named Star Trek-- were still no match for Imperial Turbolasers. During the Guardian War, it had been proven that it took a fleet of A'millan ships to challenge an Imperator-Class Star Destroyer --and for good reason. Even the old Acclamator-Class transport carried 200 Gigatons of firepower, let alone a Venator or an Imperator.

What the Captain was concerned, actually, was the Guardian Biolaser aboard the Genator II. A Guardian Biolaser is as powerful as an Imperial HTL. Actually, the Captain did not worry about the Star Destroyers; Star Destroyers did carry HTLs, and their shields were designed to withstand bombardment from equally-powerful firepower. The Genator II against a Star Destroyer would actually perform less than Star Destroyer vs Star Destroyer, because while the Guardian Biolaser can match HTL, the Genator II's shields and hull strength were not on Imperial standards. A Star Destroyer would actually shred the Genator II in a battle of shield attrittion.

What the Captain worried about was actually the two Interdictors they brought: Hunter and Captor.

Interdictors were just actually picket ships; their shields were even weaker than heavily shielded Acclamator-Class transport, and that actually explained why the Genator II knocked down the Interdictor's dome shield during the previous skirmish with its Guardian Biolaser.

The Interdictors he brought, however, were essential in capturing the Genator; it was, after all, a mission of capture, not destroy. The Venators should maintain a holding back stance to keep the A'millan ship from being destroyed, and they were supposed to protect the two Interdictors at the same time. The Trollish's Celestial Vengeance --backed with the Imperator-Class Warhammer-- would handle everything else the A'millan would throw at them.

The Captain was thinking: the Trollish Goliath-Class Battleship was formidable indeed. Its size was multiple times of a Star Destroyer, and despite the fact that Trollish Pulsar Cannon was slightly less powerful than Imperial Turbolaser, a Goliath-Class Battleship actually carried more firepower than a Star Destroyer due to the quantity of Pulsar Cannons it had.

The A'millans, on the other hand, should rely on numbers. A typical A'millan tactic against the Empire is multiple A'millan Cruisers swarming a Star Destroyer like a pack of wolves trying to corner a bear. Captain Sorin anticipated that the A'millan would bring more, many more ships to aid the Genator II against Trollish-Imperial task force, as well as the Space Station itself; the Starbase 242.

It would be an interesting battle, actually.

Ha'taks exited hyperspace over Baal's capital planet, coming into disturbing proximity with the Goa'uld's own ships. An elderly Jaffa officer gazed at the new contacts on his screen, and frowned.

"What the hell?" he muttered.

"I don't remember any ships being scheduled to arrive today," a human woman snapped.

"There aren't," the Jaffa answered.

"Then shoot them down."

"Too late," a younger Jaffa muttered.

Suddenly the new Ha'taks began opening fire, their weapons tearing into Baal's ships. The bridge trembled like an earthquake, sending everyone off of their feet and sliding across the floor.

"Raise shields!" the human boomed.

"Shields are raised, but we've lost significant hull integrity!" the older Jaffa sighed. "We're venting air on decks five through nine."

"Fuck," the woman cursed. "Return fire, maximum power. Prepare to invert seventy degrees to fire nukes."

"Yes, ma'am," one of the Jaffa answered.

"I want to know who's behind this, now."

"We get signal," the Jaffa said, channeling Zero Wing.

"Patch it through."

A dark-haired woman smiled arrogantly on-screen at the Jaffa and their human mistress, and said, "I'll give you one chance to surrender. Your hyperdrive, long-range com, and missile batteries are out of commission."

"Who the hell are you?" the woman raged.

"I am Madar, Dark Jedi Shademaster and your new dictator. We're here to acquire every nuke Baal owns, and use it against the Empire."

"Against the Empire?" the woman frowned. "The fucks that conquered my home planet?"

"Yes."

"I'll let you have the nukes, then."

"HERETIC! How could you betray Baal-"

The woman then turned, and pulled out her Beretta, but saw the man look like he was being choked before she fired off a round. With a sound that obviously indicated the breaking of neck bones, the Jaffa died and fell to the deck.

"How the hell did-"

Madar then moved a hand, causing the gun to fly right out of the woman's hand and onto the ceiling.

"That's not important right now," the Dark Jedi smirked. "I want to know your answer."

"Drop shields."

Madar ended the transmission with, "That's a good little girl. I was actually expecting a fight."

"Admiral, we have their response."

"Charming... time to heavy GMIC" (pronounced like 'gimmick') "range?"

"Twenty minutes, thirty seconds at present speed."

"Admiral, missiles outbound to the Trollish lead."

"What missiles?"

"I wish I knew, sir; we and the fleet are fully armed. It was not us."

"Admiral, the enemy vessels have begun evasive action and electronic warfare."

"Sir, scheduled arrival from 186 underway...."

In space, the transwarp conduit comes to life, and from it comes the shuttle carrying Ericson from the mirror universe, and cloaked behind him, the Lightbringer.

"And complete. The tube is clear, but there was an unscheduled follower... reads as a cloaked Falcon class, going to warp sir!"

"Let it go. Get the civvies through the tube."

"Civilian evacuation underway. Four minutes to completion."

"Enemy vessels closing faster. FTR fourteen minus."

"Send to commander, Trollish. Withdraw immediately and we will discuss the possibility of cooperation."

"Message away, sir."

"I wish there was something I could say, Galadriel, but there really isn't," Patterson finally answered. "You did what you felt was right every time, and it's... helped everyone."

"And that is what I will continue to do," the elf smiled.

Galadriel watched the dusk turn to night, and then sighed, walking off the balcony, Patterson in tow. She soon made her way back into the Vulcan capital building, where the ill-fated conference had taken place.

"Salar."

"Yes, friend?" the PM asked.

"I can do no more good here, I am afraid. I wish to depart for the Asgard refuge to speak with Thor. Perhaps we could work something out with them, and ensure war does not erupt once again. We must hurry, for I sense war is already beginning, in some places."

"A logical decision, m'lady," Salar nodded. "I shall get your ship ready. I would wish that you did not need to face such toil so soon after your vacation on Azeroth, but I cannot change the course of the universe, nor would I try."

"Yes, logically that would be unwise. But I would hardly call my visit to a world constantly at war a 'vacation', Salar."

The Vulcan raised an eyebrow.

OOC: alright, Allen. Who is the name of the President? And is the President male of female? If she's actually a female, then I have to edit the post into 'Madame President'.

OOC 2: In case you wonder where did the Empire get the 100,000 Star Destroyers post Guardian War, here's the analysis.

==================================================

Coruscant, Imperial Grand Palace.....

Darth Kreshna contemplated his surrounding. He had been familiar with the Imperial Palace since the era of Emperor Palpatine. He remembered the days entering the palace for the first time, when he received the Medal of Emperor's Will after rescuing the Emperor from the treacherous Admiral Zaarin. Then he became a Sith apprentice, and later, a Sith noble. He remembered the day when he, Sate Pestage, and Saan reformed the Empire to carry the will of the late Grand Admiral Thrawn. And now the Empire had undergone another reform again, albeit minor. The latest election had changed the government from Premiership to Presidency.

And now, after waiting on Coruscant for several days, he was about to meet the President.

"Darth Kreshna, the President is waiting for you."

The two men shook hands, albeit a little bit tensed due to the still ongoing problem in Imperial Mandate of Milky Way. After a little bit talks, Darth Kreshna explained.

"Mr. President, allow me to explain the entire situation. Some weeks ago, A'millan Ambassador John Kruger asked for disarmament of the superlaser aboard Death Star Three. I have to admit that it was quite surprising, especially since the Empire has been at peace with the A'millans since the end of the Guardian War. Naturally, I did not fulfill his request, but I did offer the A'millans to hold a conference for disarmament treaty aboard the Death Star."

The Sith continued, "Ambassador Kruger rejected my offer outright, and simply repeated the 'request', he spoke the word 'request' with irony, "then, just several days later, two subsequent incidents happen aboard the Death Star: first, a Zergling riot ensued in the Metro District. And shortly afterwards, an antimatter bomb exploded --the terrorist bomb we all have known about."

Kreshna put a datapad on the President's desk, "All circumstansial evidences we found show that the A'millans were actually behind the bombing. First, the Zerglings were fake; a clever result of genetic engineering. Second, the Zerglings were brought using transporter technology, whose energy signature perfectly matches with A'millan transporter. And third, our security cams log had found the terrorist who put the transporter and the bomb aboard the Death Star. Bioscanner log shows that the terrorist is an A'millan android. You can find all the information here."

"and most importantly, the Sith paused for a moment, "shortly before the riot --which was immediately followed by the bombing, all and every A'millans aboard the Death Star just left the station. We had Imperial casualties, Trollish casualties, Goa'uld casualties, but absolutely zero A'millan casualties. Was it a concidence? Frankly, Mr. President, I doubt it."

After taking a breath, the Sith noble continued, "our docking bay log showed that the A'millan terrorist boarded the same ship with the A'millan diplomatic officials. Later, the Trollish Secret Service and the Imperial Security Bureau discovered that the terrorist had moved to another ship: the infamous A'millan Cruiser Genator II from the Guardian War."

Kreshna emphasized his words, "Mister President, all those facts point to the A'millans. Furthermore, they have the motives; they want to disable the superlaser; weakening Imperial presence in the Milky Way galaxy. And when their demand was not fulfilled, they have shown what will happen if we don't fulfill their wish: a barbaric terrorist attack that killed many innocent civilians."

"They have asked to disarm the Death Star's superlaser; what next, Mr. President? Maybe next time they will ask us to cut the number of our fleet in half, and we will suffer another terrorist attack if we don't comply to their wish. Shall the Empire kneel itself in front of the A'millan Star Empire?"

"They know they don't have the power to face us in conventional warfare," the Sith spoke with disgust, "so they resort to the cowardly tactic of terrorism. It was clear that the A'millans are dangerous to the Imperial Mandate of Milky Way galaxy, and should I remind you that Imperial Mandate was important to us, since it provides us with cheap raw materials and cheap fuel. The people have been happy since we lowered the gas prices following the end of the Guardian War. It is important for us to keep stability in the region, and the A'millan Star Empire is tipping the balance."

Darth Kreshna now spoke with a pained voice, "the Goa'ulds were attacked by the Zerg, but instead of retaliating, the System Lord Ra now consorts himself with Queen Kerrigan --his very attacker! Shall the Galactic Empire degenerate to the level of the Goa'ulds? I understand that we don't want another war after the Guardian War, but the A'millan Star Empire is a pitiful nation with only 160 planets! I understand if you don't want a war right now, but at least allow me to mobilize our forces to be ready anytime we need it. Even after the Guardian War, the Empire still has well over 100,000 Star Destroyers with a proportional amount of Star Cruisers and Star Battleships, and that's not counting the Death Star IV and V that survived the Guardian War. I believe it is unreasonable if we could not assign more forces to guard our interests in the Milky Way."

The Sith paused, waiting for the President's reply. Unlike former Prime Minister Sate Pestage, Darth Kreshna did not know the President personally, but he wished that the President was a reasonable person. Kreshna actually had it enough with Lord Adam's devious political maneuver; from all nations involved in the Milky Way galaxy, only the Trollish realized that the A'millan Star Empire was dishonest, deceitful, and ruthlessly ambitious.

He now hoped that the President would realized the fact.

Baal appeared on Madar's screen, his face tight with anger.

"What is the meaning of this, human? You're that bodyguard of Ra's, aren't you? I suppose he couldn't be bothered to face me himself?"

"Actually," Madar said, "I don't work for Ra anymore. I quit, and this is completely my own little operation. While Ra is plotting with Kerrigan, I've gone and stolen much of his nuclear arsenal, several of his ships, and - you're next on the list."

"You won't find me quite as easy to rob, Madar," Baal chuckled.

"Yeah, that's why your fleet is lying in ruins over your capital planet," Madar smiled. "You'll find that a false god is no match for someone with the Force as their ally."

"Your magic won't stop my fleet when it arrives, outsider."

"Really?"

Madar made a motion with her hands, causing Baal to tighten up and grasp at his throat. He fought and convulsed, but soon it was no use, and the Goa'uld fell to the floor. Madar watched in quiet satisfaction, and finally released her Force hold on Baal, closing the transmission.

"All batteries aim at the planetary capital," she ordered.

"Yes, m'lady," one of the Jaffa droned.

"All ships, fire at will."

It was a horrid spectacle to behold, as thousands of golden energy bolts fell down to Baal's capital like a meteor shower, vaporizing entire city blocks with each hit. Ha'tak weapons weren't powerful enough to nuke entire cities in one hit, like Imperial ones were; to Madar, this was just a terror strike. She wanted to make the Goa'uld and their thralls fear her.

"Move my ship off to Point Holiday; let's pick up our nukes," Madar smiled. "Have all ships continue the bombardment. I want nothing left of Baal's palace but a smoking crater."

As the palace fell down in a flaming wreck of stone and smoke, Baal looked on as his city was being ravaged. Yes, Madar had actually killed Baal - or at least, one of his clones. The genuine article was still alive, and fumed at this sudden defeat.

"I'm not nearly that easy to kill, Dark Jedi," he spat.

The Goa'uld and several humans then vanished in the light of an Asgard transporter beam.

The President listened to Darth Kreshna's impassioned plea, his rousing speach, which if he'd been on the senate floor, would have caused him to make a large ad rousing speach, no doubt in slowy support, which would have ultimatly changed nothing.

So, not within the confines of the Senate, not having to pander to the political niceties, President Steelmore looked straight into the Sith Lord's eyes, smiled nicely, and replied, "No."

That may have shocked anyone else, and if given time, the President was sure the Sith would have said something else, but he didn't give the time, "The Empire is currently in a state of flux, we are re-evaluating the cost and benefit of all extra-galactic activities. The Guardian mess a few years back left us hurting, we only stayed in the Milky Way Galaxy because, frankly...your impassioned pleas in the senate made it almost impossible for the Senate to say no. But frankly...things have changed. While you have been galavanting around your precious Milky Way, in your goverment paid for Death Star, flying about in your fleet so generously paid for by tax-payer money...We have been been changing here, Lord Kreshna."

The President leaned forward, elbows on his desk, watching the red-clad man, "So...you'll understand if I tell you, frankly...we don't care. The Galactic Empire is pulling out of the Milky Way, you may stay there, if you so desire, with your Death Star Battle Station, and your personal fleet of ships, but any ships NOT connected directly to you, is being removed from the Galactic Cluster. The Empire, of course, will maintain scientific vessals in one or two, small parts of the Milky Way, but otherwise...the concerns of the rest of those powers are not our concern."

The President looked supremely smug, as he stared Darth Kreshna in the eye, "And it gives me GREAT happiness, to tell you this. As of this moment, your vessal is under confine, and you are under arrest. You will submit yourself to my authority...at such time I will have you escorted back to your ship, and then taken back to the border of the Galaxy. Where you go from there, I will not care. We will not bother you, Lord Kreshna, I will even ceeded to you, the Imperial holdings in that galaxy, all bases and colonies, to your authority. It will be up to you, to keep them running. We will allow any voleenteers to stay there, but all Imperial Personel will return to us."

The President's smug grin told volumes, as he leaned back in his chair, steepled his fingers, "You are dismissed Lord Kreshna...enjoy your new little empire. Now get the hell out of my office."

With that, the President's chair turned away, and he looked out the window, as red robed Royal Guards stepped up to either side of the Sith Lord.

OOC: OK, DesertFly, is Kerrigan ever gonna call Ra?
===============

"We get nuke signal," Nica stated.

"Good," Madar smirked. "Our job here is done. Set course for Earth, and cloak the fleet. Prepare for mass-jump."

"Helm, make your course two-five-one mark three-zero," Buscan droned, reclining back in the ship's command chair. He then looked up at Madar, and asked, "You sure about this?"

"Yes, Buscan," Madar glared. "What's wrong, you afraid of the big, bad, Empire? The same Empire you ran from for nine years?"

"I didn't ever attack a Death Star directly, dear," the Dark Jedi smirked.

"Attack directly?" Madar smirked. "No, no, no. You think we're actually going to use all those nukes?"

"That was the general consensus between myself, Nica, and all the Jaffa that have sworn loyalty to you, yes."

"We're only going to use these nukes if my plan fails," Madar stated. "I've seen the future, Buscan, and I already made my plans. They're all flowing perfectly sofar. The strands of Fate are ever changing as the Force weaves them, but I forsaw taking Ra's nukes, and I foresaw killing Baal and stealing his. I've also forseen that this will not be a battle between Imperial and stolen Lucien Alliance warships. This will not be some grand space battle, but it will be a duel.

I will face Darth Kreshna, alone. It is the singular event that I have been training and preparing myself for over several months. I am prepared. My strength is honed and my mastery of the Force is unparalleled. To the victor go the spoils, and in my case that means becoming the next great Sith and the terror of this galaxy."

"Bold," Buscan nodded.

"You'll see," Madar stated. "You'll see."

Flotsam looked baffled.

Withdraw? What! After they shoot at us? Deploy the fleet. All shot aimed at the Genator to be either EMP or half powered pulses, everything else get shat on for all I care

The Fleet powers up, sthe ships begin to move into positions at each flankof the Celestial Vengeance, the fighers previolsey inspecting ships hulls form up into battle squadrens, the Imperial warships bringing their reactors up to peak preformance

All ships, all ships, prepare to jump on my mark

Five

A huge surge of L-space activity appears on the sensor board

Four

Without anyone noticing a small fleet has emerged from L-space to the rear of the battlegroup

Three

As the engines of the Celestial Vengeance are activated, they mask the approach of the new vistors[

color=darkred]Two[/color]

The huge amount of interference caused by the engines on the trollish ship blocks any attempt to contact Flotsam

One! Jump!

The fleet accelerates and jumps to L-space and Hyperspace, leaving the fleet who had come to find them alone in the dark once more
