A.J. nodded a greeting to the new arrivals and hoisted a six-pack under each arm. "I hope more people are coming," he said wryly, "otherwise we'll be forced to drink about a six-pack each. Heaven forbid." With that, he sidled into the house.

Garth grinned, and walked into the pizza place. He looked over the menu, ordered a couple of fully loaded, and a few veggie, and a couple of meat lovers, then looked to Lei, and smiled. "What do you want on yours babe?"

Prime Minister Koizumi started to protest these words when his eyes went wide. He gripped his chest as his left arm went numb and pain filled his body. He tried to speak but couldn't get the words to come out. His mouth opened and closed meaninglessly and a few moments later he was dead.

He snickered at her, a sudden glow around the pizza boxes, before they were suspended in a simple bubble as he began to run down the block, almost daring her to try.

"If there is anything else you require be brought in we can carry them."

"Is that it..." she said, a grin breaking out on her face. It was now afternoon, and the shadows were growing again. She let him run, taking one step back into the covering shadows, vanishing inside them.
