Jernei tried to dodge the dracolich's breath weapon, but either the sight of the abomination stunned her just that one second too long, or rage at the beasts very existance. She gets caught in the full effect, and her elven form takes terrible wounds from the combination of gas and undeathly chill.

Jernei does manage to finish the mystic sigil to activate the spell she'd been preparing, surrounding herself with an aura of flames (fireshield:hot version), before giving the dracolich a taste of his own medicine. Her elven mouth opens, and an inconcievably huge bolt of lightning shoots out, aimed straight for the lich's chest.

(from what sources are those points of damage originating? I know you have skirmisher abilities and the like, but they dont apply to beings immune to crits. Also, you cannot use rapid shot unless you take a full round attack action, making your rapid shot attack moot. I will be a stickler on this. Also, how the FUCK did you roll almost all 8s and 7s on that many 8 sided dice? This is BEYOND the levels of statisticaly improbability here. You have approximatly a 1/600TH OF A PERCENT CHANCE of doing that. Explain.)

I used Magi's Dice so blame him for those(they were all witnessed) +5 for the bow enchantment, +5 for class ability(Imbue arrow +5 Arcane Archer), +5 for Str mod(Might Composite bow), 1D8 for the Long bow, and 1D6 for the Exit wound enchantment. It adds 1D6 damage(not subject to null by crit immune creatures or undead, because it is enchanted with extra speed propelling it THROUGH a creature dealing + 1D6 damage.

Should be moved to OOC

Blackclaw charged through the cloud of corrosive gases, golden scales turning dark as they sloughed off. His boots glowed as they went active, letting him sprint up to the beast and spring into the air, his greatsword being swung with the colossal strength a being his size should never have.

Caden was the first to strike after the dracolich's breath weapon hit. Arrows seemed to pour forth from him like water, and every last one of them struck their mark, various parts of the monster's body. However, their effect was muted. Being a creature of bone, it had no anatomy for Caden to specially target, and his arrows, which normally would puncture all the way through a target and do more damage to their vulnerable fleshy bits, merely passes through the bone.

(Only 153 damage done)

When the lightning from jernei hit the dracolich, he only laughted, being immune to it's effects on account of being a dracolich.

Blackclaws attacks however were more effective. He slashed into the creature'sshin bones, causing it much consternation

310 damage delt

(running total: 463 damage)

Tormenta then lay into the beat, but only managed to actually land one solid hit

(25 damage)

(Running total: 488 damage)

Vincent tries to disintegrate the creature. His hands channeling the weave as his words invoked words incomprehensible, but the creature laughed off the attack, it's undead body able by some miracle to resist the spell.

It was at that moment that the Lich's contingency was activated, and in a flash of anti-light it seemed healed of a significant portion of the damage dealt it (Harm cast on contingency)

It also became supernaturally fast, having activated a ring which now shone brightly on it's right foreclaw.

It expelled out yet another gout of it's corrosive gas (same save, 104 damage)

Vincent was caught in the full blast, his skin sloughed off. His magical equipment was fine, but his flesh was not. He appeared a a near-skinless zombie underneath his now blood soaked robes, but somehowe he miraculously surivived. Perhaps by the saving grace of his Ring of Energy resistance.

It was then that the dragon went on a full attack with every claw and tooth it posessed on the nasty Kobald in front of it

(you will need to make a DC 36 fort save against each of these, or be paralyzed)
Bite: 39 damage (6 cold damage)

Claw 2:27 damage (5 cold)

Jernei nearly got out of the way of the dragon's breath that time... but an eddy of air wrapped it around her body damagingly. Once again, her elven flesh sears and blistered from the corrosion.

Yet the Draco-lich had ignored her for an attack on BlackClaw. With luck, that would be the abomination's last mistake. She did not have the Kobold's sheer strength, but her trident had been blessed by a priest of the Triad, and still held a holy power. Activating her boots of swifteness to haste her attack, she leapt towards the draco-lich's side, the trident leading the way.

((Trident Focus & Specialization. Haste. Vincent's +1 bonus to all rolls

WIth a final shriek, the dracolich crumbled into a pile of flesh and bones. THe red glow faded from it's eyes, and it was down.

"We must find and destroy the Phylactery quickly! Before it reposesses another body" And indeed, there were other dragon corpses laying about the cavern, in addition to the monster's sizable horde.

"Or even Blackclaw's" Vincent added for emphasis.

"We have but a few brief moments"

Vincent quickly cast Heal upon himself, and you notice his skin and flesh returning in a flash of blue light. Not even missing a beat, he cast the same spell on jernei, twice.

Blackclaw, still wounded, began to run through the cavern, attempting to smash and break up the other draconic bodies before they could be possessed. "I'll try and pin down these!" He snapped. "You lot, find the stone with the soul! And pray it's not in the Scroll!"

The phylactery, and the Nether scrolls within, thank the gods they were seperate, were not damaged.

Blackclaw kept his sword held as he smashed the skull of one last corpse, his gaze sweeping the room. "Let's just smash the phylactery, grab the scroll, and run like hell." He muttered. "I hate this place. I keep feeling like we're about to be jumped..."

Blackclaw scowled and walked over to the chest, pushing the scrolls... HE was a bit wary of them, still.. aside, and lifted his sword. A moment of concentration, and he brings the blade down hard on the phylactery, intent on shattering it into a thousand peices.

[PA of DOOOOM. I'd hate to think what phylactery has more than 70 HP.]
