Dark and cloudy are bad for me. I haven't tried others.

Yes, that definitely sounds familiar. I think the phrase was lifted directly out of Nethack.

The whole Dungeons of Doom was lifted straight out of Nethack.

For me, Swirly, Bubbly, Effervescent, and Murky potions do not work, so I'm dumping them into the Clan Stash.
