The Eleventh Doctor cursed in each of his five billion languages and then turned back to the TARDIS, setting off for a particular time and place on Earth. He stepped out of the TARDIS and turned to another, identical one.

"Ten, we've got a problem."

The Tenth Doctor poked his head out of his TARDIS, "What is it now?"

"I think Nyarlathotep, or an avatar thereof, is with Galadriel and the others... because something keeps stopping me from heading in that direction. My companions went insane the first time, and the TARDIS was redirected randomly the second."

"That is odd," the Tenth Doctor said, "what do you think we should do about it?"

"We can't do anything, can we?"

"Well, we could..." Ten said, "but it would mean trying to contact them."

"We're leaving that as a last resort... the Time Lords are too much trouble to deal with, and they've likely got their hands full already."

"So what are you going to do now?" Ten asked.

"Continue our operations here on Earth... but I would like us to rescue Galadriel, Ra and the others as soon as possible, I don't like leaving them as lambs to the slaughter."

"I know, trust me, I'm you."

"I think we need to cut down on our exposition, it's annoying."

"Yes, we do."

"Ah well, no time to worry about that now, I'll go to A'millian Prime now and inform Lord Adam that we have a temporal problem, then we'll continue our exploits here."

After the Doctors exchanged nods, they returned to their respective TARDISes, and with the typical wheezing and whining of the two machines... they vanished entirely.

Hours later, the pattern of stars in space visibly twisted, suddenly producing a gold streak, which revealed itself as the Sanet shuttle. Ra was flying now, and still getting used to the controls.

"DAMN that was fast!" exclaimed Ra.

"And this is what we consider a short range space-folding drive," Verishah smiled. "The travel time is instantanous on all models, but the maximum range depends on how much power the core can be fed."

"Sounds reasonable," the Goa'uld nodded. "Now, the ship should be buried somewhere in a mountain range in the southwest of this barren rock. The Alliance built it specifically to hide this ship for time of need."

Cruising into the atmosphere, Ra guided the shuttle down over the mountains, before bringing it into a hover.

"How do ya work the scanners?" the Goa'uld muttered.

Verishah's slender fingers worked the controls, and she brought up a holographic sensor display. Overlaid on the windows in blue were hidden blast doors.

"Yep, this is the place," Ra grinned. "Well hidden, at least to the naked eye."

"How do we enter?" Verishah inquired.

"Simple. Two of the Alliance leaders must enter their code. One person can't access it alone, because of the fear that one state would use the ship's powerful abilities against the others."

"Indeed," Galadriel nodded. Switching the comm on a secure channel, she typed in a long code, and transmitted. Ra also entered the code, and transmitted.

"Goa'uld Head of State Ra and Eldar Ambassador Lady Galadriel recognized," the computer droned.

Finally, the A'millian-designed holo-shroud covering the doors faded, causing the rock façade to vanish. The massive doors shimmered as an Asgard forcefield disengaged, and finally opened, revealing a dark, dusty hangar. Inside, a sleek, blade-like nose could be seen.

"At long last, the Aurora," Ra grinned. "Now we don't need the service of foreign navies, we can travel swiftly and under secrecy, and we have a weapon to counter the Brotherhood's Revelation, should the need arise."

"A beautiful vessel," Verishah grinned.

"Indeed," Ra added. He added in mock exposition, "She was built by the great Alliance that fought the god-like Archmagus and his army of thralls, the fallen angels known only as the Guardians. The Aurora has technology from all of the Alliance states; the Galactic Empire, the A'millian Star Empire, the Goa'uld, and the Asgard."

"Sounds quite impressive," Verishah said, feigning a smile.

"Men love their big toys," Galadriel said with her typical enchanting grin.

Later, Ra parked the shuttle in the belly hangar, and after walking down the drab, dark corridors of the small ship, finally reached the bridge. The lights automatically switched on.

"Welcome back aboard, Ra and Lady Galadriel," the ship's AI chimed. "It's been rather... boring with you all gone. You've got only one other crewmember?!"

"It would appear so," Ra sighed. "We need to take off. Power up all systems if you please."

"Alright, alright! Lordy, you spend years screwing around with various systems until you're bored to tears, create new games and other things, until BAM, one day the bosses return and start barking orders!"

"Is that why HALF of the HD space is filled?!" Ra raged.

"Um... sorta," the AI laughed. "Did you ever watch that show Andromeda?"

"Hell no," Ra shook his head.

"Well... their ship had a sentient AI too, see, and she even had a holographic avatar, named Rommie," the AI explained.

"So, lemme get this straight. You've copied the idea and created an avatar? What should I call you? Aury?!"

Shimmering into view, the hologram smiled. She looked strangely similar to Jadzia Dax from DS9, sans the uniform and spots, which caused the Goa'uld to raise an eyebrow. She stated, "No, Aurora will be fine."

"Then, Old Man, start up the fricking engines," Ra laughed.

"Old Man?! OK, I watched too much Star Trek while you all were gone. Blame Lord Adam for that," she chuckled.

"At least you didn't chose Valeris," Ra sighed.

"Nah, Vulcan traitors are not my cup of tea," she laughed.

Finally, the ship rumbled to life, and lifted off of its landing legs, stirring up dust as its engines flared up. With an explosive blast, the Aurora slipped out of the hangar like a bullet, shimmering into nothingness as her cloak engaged. Her destination: KCX-236.

The Eleventh Doctor's TARDIS materialised on A'Millian Prime, just inside the palace gates. "Not you again!" the Guard grumbled, "you're here to see Lord Adam I take it?"

"Yes, I am," the Eleventh Doctor said calmly, "we've got a problem..."

Diess stepped out of the shuttle, following on towards Ra and Galadriel, knife missile in tow, "You weren't going to forget me, were you?"

He glanced about the ship and whistled, "Nice ship..." and then his expression turned cynical, "for how primitive it is." With a glance at the AI's Holographic Avatar, he grinned, "So you're using Minds now, as well... you'll be at our level soon if you keep at it."

"Nyarlathotep is near Lady Galadriel, or has been," the Doctor replied, "he's the only one strong enough to have redirected my TARDIS, save for the Time Lords and I'd be able to tell if they'd done it."

He noticed a note of curiousness light up on Lord Adam's face at the mention of the Time Lords, "Yes the Time Lords have returned, I can feel it... but they're not getting involved... they rarely do... and when they do... they usually send me anyway, and I'm already here."

"So, according to the Seer, NOD has a small operation in Norfolk," Ellen said, sitting on the corner of a desk. "Looks like some kind of naquada processing plant."

"Likely built in order to provide this realm with naquada-based technology to use against their enemies," Morfindel said.

"Yeah, the Pentagon would love to have more weapons to use against the Atlanteans, and they're still pissed at the Elves," Ellen sighed.

"I say we pay this little factory a visit, and see just what they're up to," Demika smirked, crossing her arms.

Ellen then said, "Have you guys seen the business reports lately? This infusion of alien technology is really hurting energy companies worldwide. As much as I hate paying those vultures three dollars a gallon for gas, it's going up to like seven dollars now because so many governments are acquiring naquada-based engines. The economy is being turned upside down by this. People can't even get to work. We have to stop NOD, and quickly."

"Sounds to me like this Nyarlathotep is using Kane to his own ends," Morfindel nodded. "Sewing chaos in his wake, and attempting to disrupt people's way of life."

"And it's opening the door to an Atlantean invasion," Ellen added grimly. "They see our technological defenses collapse, and they'll pour in like a flood."

"Then, we should go ahead and check this place out," Demika agreed.

"It'll be a five hour drive to Norfolk from here," Ellen sighed. "I may also get in touch with Zem, and see if her people have a plan."

Morfindel then took out his pistols, and checked them. Ellen reached over, and took one out of his hand, saying, "I'll enchant these if you want."

"You enchant weapons, Ellen?" the ranger smiled.

"Yeah, something else I learned from Estrith," the half-elf nodded, smiling. "It won't take that long to do, given the proper concentration."

OOC: Sorry, Jon. But I've been in a really busy-ass schedule this week. I hope this post can cover the time disrepancy since our latest skirmish.

=====================================================================

Meanwhile, in Sudan....

It was already night when an LAAT circled above the small town. The Commander spoke through the megaphone, "Wolcoot, Stele, Darklighter. We will get you outta' here. Just keep holding on. We will bring you back home."

In a building below, Darktrooper Sergeant Jerrod Stele contemplated. Many of his men -Darktrooper or no Darktrooper- were still shocked by the gory incident happened only few blocks from them.

Stormtrooper Rangers Star-5 was unable to reach the LAAT crash site due to heavy resistance they were encountering, so Darktrooper Delta Force Chalk One had to rendezvous with them few blocks away from the site, unable to penetrate the angry Sudanese mobs that stood between them and Wolcoot's LAAT. The Crystals, of course, were their first priority, so it was decided that Rangers Star-5 -due to their bigger mobility with AT-STs- should bring the Crystals to base, while Chalk One remained in town to reach the crash site.

At first, Stele was pessimistic whether they could save Wolcoot, but Briscoe and Degan -two Darktroopers from Chalk Three- managed to slip in using their jetpack. They even managed to drag Wolcoot into a building nearby, trying to hold the ground until Chalk One can penetrate the heavy local resistance.

Unfortunately, Chalk One itself was pinned down by the heavy firepower of NOD Troopers, Sudanese militias, and Orcs. Being devoid of reinforcements, Wolcoot, Briscoe, and Degan were eventually overwhelmed by the sheer number of Sudanese town resident. Their ammo exhausted, Briscoe and Degan were brutally maimed by the angry mob. The heavy Darktrooper armor protected them for a while, but even that could not protect them forever as the masses used everything from prybar to chainsaw to "open the can". Eventually both Darktroopers were stripped of their armor; their naked and bloody corpses were hoisted by the angry masses as a sign of their hatred to the Galactic Empire. An Imperial flag was also burned during the incident.

And Darktrooper Chalk One themselves could only witness such horror while being pinned down by heavy concentration of fire.

As for Wolcoot -the downed pilot- himself, his whereabouts were unknown. Probably he too, had met the same fate with two Darktroopers that tried to save him.

"Ammo?" Stele inquired.

The Private shooked his head.

At night, they would be safe inside the building as their enemy too, needed rest. Besides, now the entire town was celebrating the slaughtering of the two Imperial Darktroopers. People were dancing and screaming; praising the name of Kane and the Brotherhood of NOD, while the children were using the crashed LAAT as their playground.

But when the morning came, Stele knew that their fate was sealed.

Irene's base in Eritrea.....

"We have secured the Crystals, but we can't just leave our people there."

"I'm afraid we have no choice, Ma'am. We don't have necessary forces to extract them out. We don't have sufficient armor to penetrate the city. We don't have Heavy Battledroids. We only have a handful of Stormtroopers and Darktroopers with very limited ammo -which are insufficient. We were heavily outnumbered."

"And the Empire would not help us. We are renegades, remember?"

"There should be a way...." Irene pinched her lower lips. The Crystals were safe in their posession, but her people were still trapped in town.

She needed sufficient armor, or sufficient number of infantry, or both. And of course, supplies. Ammo. Especially ammo.

Could she count on personal friendship?

Moments later, a short video message was sent to Lady Galadriel of the Goa'uld Nation.

"Galadriel, this is me, Irene. As you may have known, me and my small forces on Earth are no longer part of the Empire. We tried to acquire certain artifacts from a NOD Temple in Sudan and have been successful in doing so, but some of our people are still trapped inside the town. We are badly outnumbered as the entire population is heavily armed and against us. We need at least five platoons of Stormtroopers or equivalent, two platoons of heavy armor, and a convoy of Armored Personell Carrier -which we don't have. I understand that you are by no means obliged to help us, but please understand that we are in dire need of reinforcement. I beg your kindness and wisdom."

Wherever Galadriel was, she should have received the video message if she kept her cellular communicator with her.

With its typical wheezing and whining sound, the TARDIS appeared directly behind Irene's group and the fifth Doctor stepped out, a determined look on his features, "I intercepted your message, Galadriel is too tied up in other business at the moment to be of aid to you."

He gestured to the TARDIS behind him, "Get in, quickly, and I'll take you to safety."

"Who are you?" an Imperial officer asked.

But Irene quickly responding to the situation, making the most rational response, "I don't know you, but whoever you are, I am really thankful for your help. However, it is not us who need to be extracted."

She pointed far away to the east, "the town is heavily populated with Kane fanatics; all civilians were armed and highly loyal to the Brotherhood of NOD, not to mention NOD troopers and Orcs. We have two squads of Delta Force Darktroopers trapped there. Could you send your vehicle there and save them?"

"Very well," he said calmly, "and you'd best come along with me; I doubt they'll trust the stranger in the police box as wisely as you did." He turned to the officer; "And as to your question; I'm the Doctor."

Irene straightened her holster, then nodded.

"With all respect, Ma'am, this is against every singe procedure...."

She shrugged, "we're renegades, remember? If I don't return, bring the Crystals to Lady Adam of A'millan Prime; she'll know what to do with it. Oh, and Lieutenant, I need two volunteers."

Two battle-hardened Darktroopers stepped ahead. Irene nodded to the Doctor, "before we go, I believe we all need a brief rehash on the situation. See, they were trapped in this section, while there are concentration of enemy forces here and here..." she pointed to the map, explained.

The Town...

In a building, Lieutenant Wolcoot found himself awaken on a makeshift bed.

He remembered the moments before he fell unconscious. He witnessed the grisly demise of Briscoe and Degan, and himself almost beaten up to death by the angry mob. He tried to reach the picture of his wife and kids, but the mob kept taking it away from him. He thought he was going to die as well when the mob stepped aside, paving the way for an important-looking man in black shirt and black beret.

Wolcoot remembered the man spoke before he fell unconscious.

"This prisoner belongs to Mohammed Farrah Kane."

And now, the same man sat in front of him. "Cigarette?" the man offered.

Wolcoot shook his head, refused.

The man lit his own, then puffed, "I wonder what are you Imperials doing here."

Wolcoot replied, "if you're looking for information, I am just a pilot. I don't know more than I need to do my job in this mission."

The man puffed again, "there is something you Imperials should know; this is our home. You have no business here. You don't understand what is happening here. You just a bunch of people who keep exploiting us for riches and resources, but soon, that will change. Kane will guide us, and you Imperial infidels will eventually understand the wrath of Azathoth."

"They have been trapped since 16.00 hours. Now it is already midnight. They must have run out of ammo by now. The good news is that the entire town is too busy partying, so if your vehicle can just appear out of thin air like it did, I believe we can safely sneak in and extract them out. However, this section is populated by snipers. Can your vehicle carry enough personnel for providing fire support? The LAAT could also provide distraction."

"My TARDIS can hold as many things as can fit through the door... but we can get them out without resorting to combat or fire support; this old thing has flown through a black hole and back," he sighed; "you can't bring vehicles though; not even if they CAN fit in... I'm not having you mess up my floors."

Irene nodded, and said something to her adjutant. Moments later, a small squad of Delta Force Darktroopers assumed ready position near the TARDIS; they carried supplies, extra ammo, as well as heavy support weapons like Mer-Sonn Flechette Launchers and E-Web Tripod-mounted Repeating Blasters. LAAT 5-1 would provide the distraction as they were extracting the troops.

"This is still unwise," the officer hissed at Irene.

"I knew, Mark. But remember; no one should be left behind."

"It's not that," he spoke in low voice so the doctor couldn't hear, "we don't even know who 'the Doctor' is, and now you are going to trust him to bring you and a squad of Deltas to the battlefield. How can you be so sure that he's not an enemy?"

"I just knew."

Irene walked to the doctor and said, "we're ready."

But the truth was, in normal condition she knew that whatever she had been doing is totally insane and irrational. First, she went renegade and took a handful of forces to acquire some unknown Crystals from the NOD Temple, then she was going to trust a totally unknown person who called himself 'the Doctor'. Either she was desperate........

.......or something else had influenced her.

And, in a strange dimension unknown to mankind, the gods were watching her. One of them nodded.

With a blinding blast of light, the Aurora exited hyperspace, cloaking at once.

"We've arrived in the KCX-236 System," the AI chimed.

"Scanners," Ra barked.

"Detecting one A'millian starcruiser in orbit," she answered. "Galactica-class."

"Open. Hailing. Frequencies," Ra stated.

The AI looked back, and said, "For a minute there I thought you were Ben Sisko."

"Bah!" the Goa'uld responded.

"I suppose the lunatic was just getting caught up in the moment," Galadriel sighed.

"Keep it up, hologram, and I'll show you my Sarevok impersonation," Ra said, flashing his eyes.

"O really?" the AI snarked.

"Ya, really," Ra snarked back.

"Hehehehe hahahahaha!"

Ra spun around, to see a holographic Sarevok towering overhead.

"HOLY FUCK!" Ra screamed, diving under a console.

"I will be the last, and you go first! Hehehe hahahaha!" Holo-Sarevok taunted.

"Fools, all! Turn that thing off," Galadriel snapped.

"Jesus, Glads, don't be such a tight ass," Ra huffed, brushing himself off.

She then feigned a smile, and said, "I have a sense of humor, yes. Your constant jestering around is a pure riot. Ha ha. But right now, I would think we should be more concerned about saving the universe, dropping the cloak, and hailing the A'millians."

"I guess so," Ra shrugged.

"You people are freaks," Verishah laughed.

"Young Verishah, you'll never meet more strange a group as this," Galadriel smiled. She then snapped her fingers.

"Oh, yeah," Ra said, scratching his head. "Open a channel."

"Hailing frequencies open, sir," the AI said, crossing her legs.

"Uhura, you are not," Verishah advised.

The AI frowned.

Ra cleared his throat, and boldly announced, "This is the Alliance vessel-"

"The Aurora? What the Christ?! Who is this?" the cruiser's comm operator demanded.

"It's Ra," the Goa'uld sighed. "And Galadriel, and some new people."

"S-stand by, let me talk to- yes, sir, it's Ra and Galadriel. No, Captain, it can't be a trick."

"Sensor contacts concur," an officer added.

"Alright," an older voice sighed. "Aurora, assume a parking orbit off our starboard aft. We've got much to discuiss."

"Will do," Ra answered nonchalantly.

With its typical wheezing and whining sound, the TARDIS materialised outside of the trapped forces, and it materialised at around 4:30pm that day, thanks to its time travelling abilities. "Get in!" the Fifth Doctor yelled out over the confusion towards the soldiers, "We haven't much time, this fight's going to get worse if you don't move!"

"Get in!" the Fifth Doctor yelled out over the confusion towards the soldiers, "We haven't much time, this fight's going to get worse if you don't move!"
"Hey Sarge, what the fuck was THAT??"

As Irene and more Darktroopers stepped out, Sergeant Jerrod Stele quickly understood, "whatever it is, I believe it's our ride. Pack your hear boys. Go go go!"

The Delta Force Darktroopers Chalk One made their way into the TARDIS in small waves, but the appearance of the device had attracted the attention of NOD Troopers and Orcish guards. Soon, they were under heavy fire.

"Six-four. Six-four. We need some backup at sector oh-oh thirty nine. Say again. Sector oh-oh thirty nine."

"Roger that, Ma'am."

The command LAAT swerverd downwards to the direction, then launched its flechette, anti-personell rockets to NOD and Orc troops that were trying to stop the extraction. The enemy, however, kept pressing.

"Just never mind them, once you're in the TARDIS you're safe!" the Fifth Doctor yelled out as the stormtroopers returned fire. As soon as the last Stormtrooper was inside, and the TARDIS was feeling slightly more crowded than usual, the Fifth made his way to the console and said, "Where are we going?"

"Sector two-oh-four-four," Irene replied while pointing at the map, "Chalk Three is still trapped there. Six-four will provide us distraction and cover."

Outside the TARDIS, sounds of heavy gunfire could still be heard as the enemy was firing wildly.

The Fifth Doctor pressed a button which closed the door, leaving them in silence. "Okay, we're on our way there now." The central time rotor of the TARDIS began to move, its typical shunting sound echoing throughout the console room as it dematerialised and rematerialised at its next destination.

As Irene was about to open the door, she noticed a huge, monstrous vehicle with a pair of large, bulbous tanks on its back. "NOD Flame Tank!" she quickly slammed the door shut, "Chalk Three. Chalk Three. Stay in the building, flame tank on your three o'clock. Say again. Flame tank on your three o'clock. Six-four, we have flame tank here."

As the flame tank crawls closer to the TARDIS, Irene warily asked the Doctor, "how fireproof is this vehicle?"

OOC: okay Jon, wanna' join the fray? You have a flame tank to play with.

"This thing can fly through a Black Hole, and I have tested that feature," the Doctor replied, "so fire will be the least of our worries."
