Maybe we could ask Adam if it's possible to actually have custom selected 'star' symbols.

I'm kind of fond of a few of them...

I second Walper's custom motion

It's a good idea - is it possible?

Not half bad, Robert. Stetch the width by 1/3rd or so and change the background color to yellow and you might be onto something.
Not that anybody but me would want them so you'd be doing it just for kicks.

I tried tinkering with it...but the scale prevents my altering it much beyond as is without losing it's recognizable form. The color change is easy, but beyond that.

And ultimately, I hope the board will be willing to consider having all of these available, with even user selection options.

Added an axe, ISD and Tao symbol above.

I'm clearly having too much fun designing these things.

How about we do little skulls? It'd cater to the IoM and DnD fans (necromancy and shit) on the board. Still, my vote's going with Chaos signs.

Pentagrams? That's just silly. That there's this much controversy indeed proves it's a bad choice for representing everyone.

I'm partial to the crossed swords.

If anyone else can do a good skull on that scale, I say go for it to see what it looks like.

My paint fu isn't up to it...everything else I drew from scratch at scale.

We won't be using the Pentagram, End of Story.

As Nitram pointed out, it provoked THIS much controvery in a discussion thread, I'd hate to see what it will provoke if we use it "officially" in any capacity.

I kinda like the skull idea. Pretty generic.

Well, it was just the base image to work with. I'd have left the transparency effect to the individual implementing them.

But it's irrelevent now, as the DS has spoken and it will not be implemented, which is fine by me.

My personal favorites are the crossed swords and the book still. And out of curiousity, how long will this thread be going on? And has anything been further looked into about custom symbols (such as for Bats)?

Here we go:

And no, KAN, Succubi have all of two nipples. They just have blue or purple hair, two sexy horns, big red wings, and a fleshy tail as a bonus. The only problem is that they have that nagging habit of consuming your soul...
