Christmas Eve in Sarajevo by The Transiberian Orchestra. The Carol of Bells, with a little more rock and feeling.

I second Christmas Eve in Sarajevo by the Transuberian Orchestra

followed up with "god rest ye merry gentlemen"

If that's the one I'm thinking of it's one of my favorite renditions of Carol of the Bells. Does it have electric guitars and such?

Carol of the Bells is my favorite I think, but there are so many good ones to choose from. Especially if you look into the often forgotten alternate lyrics for many classics (e.g. We Three Kings has several verses most people have never heard).

Bell Carol is also quite good. I arranged it as a canon once.
