He watched closing his eyes for a bit as Mel patched her beaux up. All he had to do was tell Petro about Steve...make sure the Mall was alright...

Then he could check out.

"Got some bad news for you Pet...." he said after a few minutes

She was finishing with the dressings, wrapping Petro up in neat and tidy gause.

When Silver said the words, her heart sank.

His eyes snapped open as his head came off the wall, looking at Silver. "Tell me," he said, the tone making an order out of it.

Steve? Or Gwen? Both?

Wendigo wandered back towards Caiger Mall. He was allied with the humans out of necessity now. Besides, it was nice to have someone to talk too. It made him feel more . . . alive.

"Hey!" a voice called down to Reaper from the building he passed as he closed in on the perimeter. "You're the guy who went in with the 1st, right?"

The patrols were getting back out, even if the OPs were only skeletally manned. A metal flask came sailing through the air, aimed in the vicinity of Reaper. "Single malt!" the man said, waving.

"Doesn't drink whiskey," the man muttered, taking a drink and wanderin off. Inside, the feast was dying down. It hadn't been a particularly exuberant affair, with the casualties and general state of exhaustion all around. But it had been a small celebration of survival, and a general mood that life was going to go on, now that winter had arrived.

The boy had wandered down to the infirmary for dinner, sitting upon Alastair Punt's bed and chattering away while they'd both eaten a bit. But Punt wasn't exactly in condition to be socialising, so Jared had finally admitted that he could find something else to do before bed.

When Reaper entered the mall, he'd see the boy sitting at a fountain, trolling his hand through the water.

The ghoul looked at the boy for a moment and then walked around the other side of the fountain. They humans wouldn't want him around children, no matter recently he had fed. Petro was proof of that.
