Well, I'm for the 'divine magic without gods' thing, in general, though I think it should be one hell of a hard character option to play, requiring a consistant devotion to some cause with a religious fervour.

Kinda like a leader cult, or communism. :lol:

Well, I'm fine with it in other settings, but if I wanted to play a concept-devoted cleric without a god, I'd catch the next portal to Greyhawk. :wink: If Ed Greenwood wants to change his setting that's fine, but I don't care for two-bit authors ignoring the rules of the setting just because the editors don't play and aren't likely to catch it and sneaking in stuff in violation of that rule without actually officially changing it.
