Marcus saw the chance he'd needed. Once more a black tentacle formed beside the beast and drove into it's chest, aiming directly for the heart, so as to pull it out.

Marcus meanwhile threw the glass shard aiming for one of the massive cuts on it's neck.

And once more Zayne hit the ground, only this time he didn't bounce right back up. His legs had been pretty shredded by the lupine, and were not responding as they properly should.

He struggled to make his way up again as Marcus launched his attack.

The glass missed. The tentacle didn't. It burrowed up through the gut wound and pulled. Blood gushed from the lupine and it fell to his knees.

He lumbered into a shuffling run and tackled the lupine in what would not be a very impressive move had not all the combatants been equally shredded. His fangs sought throat once more, his wounds and exertions crying out for blood, NOW.

Marcus staggered forward as the tentacle held up his prize. With a look of disgust he lifted the car door and slammed it down on the creature's neck until the head was removed. It was then that Zayne reached the corpse.

Then he drank the hearts blood and had his fill of the Lupine blood as well, sending much of what he drank towards healing. It wasn't complete, he was still missing a lung and many of the muscles, but the outside looked somewhat normal, and he didn't really need that lung anyway.

Marcus got to his feet, feeling a bit more angry than before, that was odd, perhaps it was lingering battle lust. He watched Zayne partake of the blood feast as well. A worthy combatant. He waited until the kindred was done feasting.

The vampires felt their bodies fill with power. They could shatter armies, lay waste to cities, bring their enemies to their knee! They were almost gods!

He forced his flesh to mend itself, restoring some function to his lower limbs and. The wounds were not entirely healed, but if need be he could fight once more. He looked at the Lasombra with dark eyes so incongruous with his pale blond hair as he consciously retracted his fangs and fought down the urge to lash out at another predator in his vicinity. He was familiar with the intoxicating rush of lupine blood.

He didn't speak, simply stared at the other.

Marcus fought back the feeling of power. But this still bothered him some. As was the look he was getting "I am of Lasombra Antitribu, I am no spy." That should clear things a little. And there didn't seem to be any people around. "I will have questions as to why you were here but for now we should get rid of this," he pointed at the bloody corpse, "and this." He pointed at the car. "I take it you have already made your associations with the Prince so our trip to Elysium to inform him of this won't lead to bad things?" He'd dealt with enough newcomers, including the Malkavian under the car. Coward as he was he should tear the creatures... no. Calm, rationalize.

The lupine's body was shifting, becoming that of a grey haired man with a thick mane of hair and a bushy beard.

Antitribu.

Interesting. He hadn't been informed that there was an antitribu in the area, something that should have been of note and interest to prevent potentially fatal errors such as the one he'd nearly made in assuming this one to be another scout.

"No," he said. "I was coming into the area when I picked up the trail of the lupine," he gestured toward the lupine. "Word has gone through the countryside that a great elder of my clan has come to this city, and where he is, the hunting will be good. I've been looking for another of my clan to set up my introduction, but..." he waved at the corpse. "I wanted to know what one of those was doing in the city. I didn't think they came into cities."

He rose up, lifting the decapitated corpse easily, tossing it over his shoulder. "You have a place to dump the body?"

*Clack* Merry rests his arm and the gun strikes the ground softly in his relaxed grip. He survived! The pattern had shown him the way, he followed and now their foe lies dead. It felt good to be alive. Well, mostly alive. Or mostly dead. Or not quite dead. Bah.

Of course he was hungry, but that could wait for now. He owed big time, a proper ritual would be required later this night.

Marcus watched the other Kindred for a moment longer. "The river or the train yards will do fine. But we'll need a car to transport. Come on, let's get this thing inside at least before people start coming around." Marcus walked quickly over to the door of his home and openned it, collecting his jacket on the way. Authorities would be here soon, they could be dealt with easily though.

He took the body to the trunk and waited for it to be opened for him.

Well, this was an interesting way to begin his insertion. And somebody would be most interested in the presence of an antitribu in the area. Such things could be parleyed into favors down the road.

The vampires had a little more time than they expected as the Veil would lead people to avoid thinking about what they saw here and rationalize it away.

Merry scoots out from under the car, a bright twinkle in his eyes and a satisfied--but not over-done--grin on his face. He sits up and gets to his feet, placing the gun on the car's roof before stretching a little.

Marcus had mentioned Elysium, but he wasn't sure he wanted to go there tonight. Or ever.

The others are so serious, not even a hint of joy or accomplishment! What a sad existence they choose.

Marcus attempted to start the car, not thinking it would work anyway, but they needed to at least know that. Then he could go collect the bodies in his home and dispose of them as well. Then get the Malk back in it's mask and go parade this fuzzies head around Elysium. This would strike fear into his opponents, oh yes. Marcus let himself grin.

He slammed the trunk lid down, then walked over to the driver's side. "Do you want me to come with you?" he asked.

Marcus turned the key and heard the engine sputter for a second then come to life. "Yeah, but first we need to get some other things."

Marcus turned off the car again and got out. "There are a few other things I need to load in here." Marcus looked at the gangrel. "I almost forgot pleasentries, I am Marcus, as I've stated I'm the antitribu of the city. This here is Merry."

Marcus listened for the name of his newest accomplice as he quickly headed back for his home, best time to dispose of the bodies inside.

"Zayne of the Gangrel," he said. "From the line of Demetrius, hunters all."

He chewed on his re-shrunken nail, flicking a bit of blood out from under it with his tongue as he followed along.

Marcus rolled his eyes, and they called the Lasombra self-absorbed. "A noble line, I am sure." Marcus collected the bodies in his home and got them ready to be dumped into the car as well.

"I was attacked by this beast a few nights ago." was the explanation that Zayne was given. Marcus then grabbed a sac and slipped the head of the recently killed werewolf into it. His prize.

Cassie softly sings a song, "Its 3 oclock in the morning...We've dance the whole night through..."

As she is looking for Wright. She is on the ground looking through the grass, smelling the air, seeing the evidence of the fire.

Its a little difficult only because vampires heal their wounds. Blood would be concentrated in a spot and then dissapear as they heal their wounds. But Cassie, unlike Mary or Rosemary would not know that.

Rosemary approaches Mary. "Ill make you a deal..." She begins and curls down to croutch in front of Mary. Yes, she has something up her sleeve.
"She believed in nothing; only her skepticism kept her from being an atheist."

He let the antitribu have his little moment of self-congratulation. Obviously the apple had not fallen far from the tree with this one.

Good. It always paid to be underestimated. However, it might well not pay to be associated with one who was a leper.

Perhaps he could find a way to climb over this one's back in order to properly ingratiate himself into the local vampiric society.

Marcus quickly brought the other bodies to the car and covered them. It was a wonder that people weren't all over this place yet. A second blanket was thrown over the wolf blood that still coated the ground, then he placed some of the fake plants in pots over it to make certain the wind wouldn't carry it away.

Marcus took one last look over things, this was as best as he could do. The gangrel would need something more if he was to fall into line. Already thoughts of how to do so filled his mind. Cassie would be easy, Wright he already had. The malkavian would prove to be trouble to have a hold over, as would the Ventrue.

Marcus looked back at Merry. "Since we are going to elysium I'd suggest you put that mask back on. Or would you prefer your cover blown?"

"I would prefer going nowhere near that place. I have things to do, Nathaniel won't do them for me."
