Yes, but it is your character's morals that seem to be the problem here, which lands it firmly in your camp.

Amen. Tell me about it chummer. It used to be a runner could just go out and do his not at all legal business like a god damn fucking professional without the scum of the 'plex getting in the way. Now every two-bit policlub, immortal elf, or dragon has to go stirring up trouble in our home turf and screwing things up. What's a razorgirl or spellslinger to do? You can't let that shit slide. I mean, would Ghost Who Walks Inside or Sally Tsung share beers with runner who just let that drek hit the fan? No, a shadowrunner has to have standards. The world these days. The new kids have no idea how it's done. Toast to Captain Chaos and Hatchetman, may they rest in peace.frigidmagi wrote:What I wanna know is why I can't I slip out of the city to go kill Ban Morten without tripping over 1 of 15 gizaillion plots of his? What is this guy the Joker or something?
Can someone tell me in what kind of a world we live in, where an honest mercenary can't sneak out of town to kill a noble without tripping over a plot against the throne?
I'm trying to conduct an assassination here! This is unprofessional!
Oops, wrong game.

No love for Hatchetman, omae? He was a righteous street samurai, one of the best runners on the West Coast. Always good have on your team for muscle work.

Holy shit. I am having flashbacks to the problem of Theodicy!frigidmagi wrote:One could note, if one was inclined to, that since you're the GM and thus in charge of this world that it most certainly is your fault. That is if one was inclined to make such notes.

Tev just called me and told me she was in the middle of an internet outage, so we may postpone the final session until next week. We'll see.

Went to see Avengers with the parents... came back to find that a faucet in an upstairs bathroom had been leaking (probably) since we left. If we're still on for tonight I'm gonna be a little late, say 8:30 or so.

Tonight is up in the air with how foggy I am. I'm going to try, but I make no promises.

Hotfoot has a bloody shunt in his ear and is hopped up on antibiotics for both ears. Until further notice the game is postponed.

Okay, that's it, the GM is off his happy pill and ready to murder everything in sight. That includes players that won't be making it tonight. Keep that in mind.

And so, sadly without the Lady Tevar, who will get a grand telling of the tale's, and Bann Morten's end when next we see her, Dragon Age comes to an end, for now. In about a week or so, probably after CynCat's Grand Return to Rogue Trader, I will put up a poll to see what will happen in about a month or so when Julian and I attempt tag-team GMing.
It was a pleasure everyone, and I hope you enjoyed the ride.

Tev, I did try to call your home line, and nobody picked up. I have been trying like mad to get this last session in and I never said it would be weeks off because of my pain pills. It has always been a case of the game should be expected unless I or someone else specifically state ahead of time that there would be cancellation, and I while my health has brought up the game's status into question the last few weeks, I have always kept open the chance of running the session as I was actively getting better. I made a post several hours prior to the game in the thread, and I made an honest effort to contact you when the game started, delaying the start of the game for nearly an hour to see if you or Nitram popped online. I'm very sorry that you couldn't attend, and I tried to make sure your character had a memorable moment for you to savor later when we would catch you up on what happened.
That said, Jhelian got to send an arrow into Bann Morten's head while Eliseath and Aitor each introduced a short sword to a lung.
