I'm trying to come up with Ringtones for the PCs for Jax's cellphone, assuming Eddie and Cole have them of course.

So far for Ally I'm working with either Do You Believe in Magic by the Lovin' Spoonful, Black No. 1 by Type O Negative, or If Only I Were Goth by Thou Shalt Not.
For DS I'm thinking Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne or maybe Puff The Magic Dragon for laughs
Cole gets the obvious Kung-fu Fighting. Or maybe Ninja Rap by Vanilla Ice for an even more horrible ringtone choice
Eddie gets either Elton John's Crocodile Rock or Nerf Herder's Crocodile

You'd probably be right as well. I gotta say Jax's reaction had me in chuckles. ^^

I think Kung Fu Fighting would only work if Jax knew Cole was Akashic, and thats not really something he advertises. Do isn't exactly the flashiest of martial arts either, more the very essence of the moves than all the trappings that go with them. Ninja Rap is more amusing but he hasn't done anything to put that image out yet.

Remember that Jax has limited knowledge of the trads and such period. In his mind when he hears Akashic his mind jumps to the obvious generalizations surrounding kung-fu, martial arts, etc. Expect a chop sockey and the required 'I know Karate and a few other oriental words' jokes at some point.

If someone tells him you are Akashic it's getting a horribly inappropriate ringtone. Just like DS is probably going to end up with the theme song from Mr. Wizard or something...

Well obviously that's Guy D. Anderson, born April 30, 1955 with a SSN of 215-52-6783. His blood type is O+ by the way and he has a history of drug and alcohol abuse. Lost his wife to the booze back in 03, shortly after their kid died in a car accident. Shame really. He turned to the drink to console himself and lost everything else in his life. Was a roofer for awhile too, but Katrina kinda fucked that up for him too. Too drunk to really hold jobs or make money he ended up on the street. If you'll notice, we're all using Third Person Narrative (while the players focus on their own characters and actions) while I tend to go Third Person Omniscient (Cause I'm the GM and what not).

As it is, I'm slightly confused by your post, and it's disconcerting to read the other posts...then come to yours and have a switch of style.

So yes...please redo it, so I can actually know what the hell is going on. I'd appreciate it.
