Nitram: It seems that your BP usage for your updated Orduin is a bit off. Essence improvements with bonus points seems to b e 7 instead of 4 as you have marked. If this was fixed in the scroll of errata, can you please let me know so I can make the necessary alterations for Yvela as well? Furthermore, charms are 4 bonus points (3 if favored or caste) rather than the 2 points you used. Again, if I missed something in the scroll of errata, let me know so I can update my character. Yvela needs a new pair of just about everything. :P

I thought those were the Ink Monkey costs.. Apparently I'm very wrong. Damn, have to re-do.

I was not aware that ink monkeys had cost changes. If that is the case, let me know! I am talking purely about the scroll of errata. I used the main rulebook costs as did Kolth I think.

Same - I never examined the Ink Monkey costs, to be honest. I just used the main books, and the Scrolls of Errata.

I expect to relaunch the game sometimes next week. If you would rather terminate the Keln/Valmer quagmire immediately or play it out, please mention it visibly in your next post (right now 1 in 4 in favor of pursuing).

Basically. It'll give all of us a chance to warm back up to the game, and besides - leaving plot threads is something I don't like.

Also, speaking of former mates from another Age, I wanted to talk about Kolth's, to see what all of you think of this OOC.

I wanted his old mate to not be a Lunar, but another Solar - A Dawn Caste, specifically. The problem is that her Essence became an Abyssal one (e.g. she's a Dusk Caste now).

I think most of you can see where this might be going. So - if there are no objections, I'll talk more directly with Nomad about her.

I'll try to write a tentative restart this evening - just a tiny morsel to hook you in (and plunge myself back in the old intrigue). If I can't lift my writer's block... well, I'll be kinda busy till Tuesday. We'll see from then on.

I've been a very bad girl and haven't posted the New Teamhair CS, although part of it is Nit's fault for remaking her with Ink Monkey

I also have been suffering from a general feeling of 'meh, later' when it comes to getting things done. Partly from the heat of summer, partly from the illness I've been fighting, and made worse by depression. I am still wanting to play, I just haven't worked on the CS in over two weeks

Basically, yes. If you'll allow it, she'll probably be a Big Bad for a while before... let's call it "before circumstances allow for the change."

Yup. I'll see what I need WRT the plot that will unfurl when you get back to Lookshy...

So, basically, when we were stopped there were two venues of inquiry/action: the Guild, and Elder Labdaran. I suspect Teamhair and Kolth will start investigating first hand, with Orduin and Yvela providing whatever support they can. I'll NPC Ake and Lyiana, but they'll take a backseat from now on, being gradually phased out until I manage to retire them gracefully.

So, who will investigate what?

Yvela does not have the skill set to be an effective investigator. I am willing to do what I can, but clearly my character is not going to be able to take point in these matters.

I went back and reread all of page 19, setting up the situation, and the Elder's trip bugged me. Really really bugged me. A delay like that could be used to set up a trap for him

Well, looks like I was inspired.

To make it short:
* Kolth + Lyiana + Ake stay and watch over the Guild
* Teamhair + Orduin + Yvela watch on the Elder. That way, if there's trouble the martially inclined will be able to flex their muscles.

If you've another spread in mind, by all means mention it.
