Warhammer stats are wrong.

When you say Warhammer stats, you mean his general stats right?

He's the GM - so, no.

I'll be on AIM and Skype for a few hours before the game if you want to go over some of the finer points of the character. I've had a bit of experience with the system and I can help with some of the more confusing parts.

No, he lists a warhammer as a weapon and the stats are off.

And when the GM says "have to" I me "have to" not "good idea" or "wise". 2 points is the floor if you're looking for it.

Where are they wrong at? The damage and everything looks right from the book, and the mono upgrade takes the armor pen from 1 to 3 I thought?

There's no way 1d10+2 damage is correct for a character with your Strength.

Remember guys, there's a game today, and our lives depend on it. Friends don't let friends have their characters strip themselves naked and stay behind to stop the unthinkable monstrosities.

No game this coming Monday.

In other news, FFG announced their next 40K game and it apparently is at the printers: Black Crusade. You play the servants of Chaos.

That... could be interesting. A games structured around serving Chaos seems a little risky, but I've been pretty pleased with FFG's other 40k offerings so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Bad news. Work schedule shifted and I'm working this Monday so no game.

At least the following week looks good.

Well at least I'll be able to get to sleep at a decent hour to make certain I'm not exhausted at work the next morning...

Very well, this will give me another week to decide about abilities.

Having consulted with our most illustrious and beneficent GM, I propose a Deathwatch game at the usual time and format on the days when Cat is unavailable to run Rogue Trader. Deathwatch seems to lend itself more to discrete sessions than the other 40k RPGs and I think that would make it pretty easy to adapt for a 'back up' campaign for anyone (like myself) who needs their weekly 40K fix. I'm willing to GM these hopefully infrequent sessions, but if someone else has an idea they want to run, they could take over for a session.

If there's enough interest, I'll start a new thread for characters and the like to avoid confusion and clutter. Otherwise I'll go nurse my beer and watch TV (as crying in a corner would be unsuitable for one proposing he ride herd on a group of hyper-masculine murder machines [unless they're Raven Guard]).

That has promise. I wouldn't mind some deathwatch badassery. Would you allow for stuff from Rites of Battle, such as custom chapters?

Yes, I think Rites of Battle would be in. Stuff from other official supplements should also be viable.

I would be interested in such a game. Of course that leads to the question of what I'd be doing on days that main campaign is being run. Hmm...

Oh, and when are the regular sessions held?
