Hi, guys. Well, a couple friends of mine want to try to run an online campaign, and we need some players. We're going to use Open RPG to run the game rather than a play-by-post to try and make coordination easier.
I'm going to run a dark urban campaign using 3.5 D&D rules. The campaign starts at 2nd level. The city I'm using is Westgate in the Forgotten Realms. Those of you familiar with FR should note that I routinely alter the Realms when I run games, so be prepared for non-canon elements.
We plan to run on Saturday or Sunday evenings, starting at roughly 4:30 pm Eastern time. Which day will be decided by what's convenient for the most players, though if it's Sunday there will be a hard limit on the session time, since I have to be at work that night at 10:00.
As those familiar with my interests might guess, the planned centerpiece villain is the Night Masks thieves' guild, with other opponents as appropriate to what the characters do and where they go. I'm prepared for simply leaving the city as well if that's what the party decides to do, but the game will at least start in the city.
I'm looking for two to three additional players. Let me know if you're interested.
