#1 Deathstrike, Mekton Zeta Style

Post by Cynical Cat »

So I'm giving it a shot of creating full powered Deathstrike using Mekton Zeta rules. Commentary welcome. I expect to go through several iterations until I get it right.

Version 1.0

Torso Servo

Medium Heavy 16 16 16

Medium Heavy Armour 8 8
Cockpit 0 1
Passenger Space 1 1

Head Servo

Light Heavy Weight 7 7 7

Medium Heavy Armour 8 8
Main Sensors 4 1 2

Arms (x2)
Armoured Heavy 10 10 10 Add +2 Throw 6

Medium Heavy Armour 8 8
Hand 2 1 1 1

Legs (x2)

Light Heavy 8 8 8 Add+2

Medium Heavy Armour 8 8

Wings (x2)

Heavy Striker 5 5 5 (Ma+2)

Heavy Striker Armour 5 5

Frame Weight: 131 or 65.5 tons

X-ray Laser, handheld 10 10

Torso Missile Pods (x2) 10 10

151

Thrusters MA 10 (+2 wings) x2 in Fighter form

57 points of thrusters

Okay, clearly that's crazy Next iteration will be plundering Mekton Zeta Plus to pimp out the x-ray laser and try and manage flying.

This is hilariously awesome. Hotfoot told me that even combiners and oddballs like Sixshot were possible with this system. How's it look so far with Transformers?

And oh man Zeta Plus has a lot of useful stuff. V 1.1 will be so much better. Very TF friendly, to answer your questions rhoenix. Transformation rules built right into the core system.

By the way, move 24 in fighter mode means supersonic, just for the record. If that's what you're going for, cool, just keep in mind that you're a zoomy.

Deathstryke is all zoom no turn.
Half-Damned, All Hero.

Tev: You're happy. You're Plotting. You're Evil.
Me: Evil is so inappropriate. I'm ruthless.
Tev: You're turning me on.

It's not a good system until I've tried to make my customary weird-shit characters in it. If the system is flexible enough to incorporate something like Hornet, then we'll see...
Gaze upon my works, ye mighty, and despair...

Havoc: "So basically if you side against him, he summons Cthulu."
Hotfoot: "Yes, which is reasonable."
