Slipknot's Paul Gray has died at the age of 38.

The bassist was found dead in his hotel room in Des Moins, Iowa, earlier today (May 28).

According to TMZ, Police have found no evidence of foul play at the scene, but there will be an investigation into the death.
WTF! Last week it was Ronnie Dio, this week it's Paul Gray. Last year it was actors, this year it's musicians. WTF...

Like Slipknot or hate em, when you watched this man play, the man had some killer licks even when using a pick instead of fingers. He was severely underrated as a bassist because he never tried to get so much into the limelight. Which is kind of a loss as he was damned talented.

He'd been battling problems with drugs and alcohol abuse for awhile now, as far as I'm aware. He was also expecting his first kid this year with his wife, Brenna.

RIP, Paul.

Damn.

Rest in peace.
