Apologies, I got the Radical's Handbook and Mass Effect 2 on the same day, and I've got other crap going on right now.

If you wish more than basic info, you can make Inquiry checks.

Inquiry is a skill, Fellowship based. If you don't have it you can roll against half your Fellowship. There may or may not be modifiers (Dark Heresy uses a base level of Challenging, which means positive modifiers are common), but that's for Academia to know and maybe tell us if he feels like it.

Sorry I've been AWOL- RL has a tendency to strike at you without warning. I'll post something tomorrow.

Have a very nice day.

If he's still with us, Karrick may make his entrance now, escorted into the office by some Arbites troopers. You know you are working with the Inquisition and generally that you will be performing investigations, but you will have to get caught up from your fellow acolytes. If you wish to RP this out or just say that you talk to them while waiting around or the like, that is up to you and them. Don't do it in the office, the Assistant Precinct Magister is busy and doesn't need people wasting his time going over things he already knows.

For those in the upper hive seeking other potential sources of blackout from the Arbites, that is a Routine (+20) Inquiry check. For other strange activities that is a Hard (-20) Inquiry check as the Arbites have other things to deal with and you will need to ask the right thing to jog their memories.

For those in the lower hive, it is a challenging (+0) Inquiry check to ask for any additional information.

As always, a good RP associated with the check can modify the difficulty, and depending on the degrees of success you will get more or less information.

I hope I didn't step on your toes getting my stuff, Academia. I also hope Mr. Zane comes off as having an inflated sense of self-importance. For example, I know his family wouldn't have been able to pull strings with the Inquisition but being a noble with little in the way of perspective, I think that would be his first assumption. He's also not too happy with the arbites, obviously. Tch, holding him prisoner, really.

That said, he's not going to be a bastard to his new partners in crime, that would be counter productive.

Okay, so I'm sort of waiting on fgalkin at this point since he is the charisma monkey in this party. Once the group gets back together to compare notes and decide on an initial plan of attack I will also be giving out XP rewards and the like for sticking with this game.

Hmm, I'll still be in the city until tomorrow morning. Maybe I should spend some time hunting a Ruskie.

Well, I'm massively late since I haven't been around in months, but if it ever becomes possible I'd like to write up a character for this and join in.

Morrigan disapproves!

Because I don't want this to die, I will instead have it lurch forward while frowning deeply at fgalkin. I will also make a few inquiry rolls for you because you're the only one who has it at the moment, but don't think this will become common.

Routine Inquiry + Peer (government)

Hard Inquiry + Peer (government)

For putting up with things this long, you are all awarded 100XP. If I could get how you want to spend it soon, that would be great.

*gasp* fgalkin posted!

By the way, I literally gasped.

Wow, next time I go home, I'll have to definitely bring my rulebook with me.

I do not know my options.

100xp eh? So that should bump me up to Guard if IIRC, in which case I shall take Basic Weapons Training (Launcher).

Actually, until you spend the 100xp you're not at guard yet, so you're limited to the selections available to conscripts.
