I was more thinking that something gribbly got in through the holes but that would require some summoning.
Disregard.

The ship travels through the warp. The warp is the home of daemons. Hexagrammic warding is rare, because it dabbles on the edge of forbidden knowledge (the knowledge can also be misused for binding and summoning daemons), but Rogue Traders do have pull.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Which makes it all the more likely we'll have to fight for the ship, since Daemons would have likely evaporated back into the warp or taken control of it by now. Since they are now much less likely as a cause for the loss of this one, I think we'll need to step even more cautiously.

The shuttles can hold abut 20 people each, less if they carry more cargo than personal gear. The 2 lighters can hold about 40 people with a modest amount of cargo and can trade people for cargo space and visa versa. The gun cutter carries about twenty, personal gear, and a few tons extra cargo without difficulty.

As I told Cyncat, the lighters themselves will have marines on board, armed and ready for trouble, while the shuttles themselves will contain engineers and such. The general order of business will be to secure the hangar bay first off, then the engineers can come in and start restoring systems.

Ratchet but he died in the first 20 minutes. Waste of a great character.

Holy crap, I look away for ten minutes and suddenly there's a metric ton of plot progression!
Guess I've got some catching up to do.

I'm glad for that. TPK but for one looks bad on the resume. I think I'll be joining the second wave to avoid mucking with continuity any more than I have to.

You're the boss.

Yes, then we can all get lost and starve to death together as one happy family!
Have a very nice day.

Are we cracking the lighters open before or after the second wave shows up?

For actions, my character is scanning for daemons and such in the Warp right now, and scanning for any active psychic emissions.

Karrick, you're not getting mesh armour over a void suit. They are self sealing and have patches, so a puncture isn't instadeath.

The lighters are buttoned up, so someone with technical skills (or sufficient brute force) PC or NPC is needed to crack them.

Fair enough. Is mesh armor form fitting like a bulkier version of synskin?Cynical Cat wrote:Karrick, you're not getting mesh armour over a void suit. They are self sealing and have patches, so a puncture isn't instadeath.

I see Steel posses Forbidden Lore (Mutants), any chance I can use it to identify the bladed corpse?
