As the dinner party is breaking up, those who aren't there for whatever reason, should feel free to post.

Are we living in Trekland where the away teams are composed of senior crew and the occasional redshirt?

Have a very nice day.

As a note, my armour's outside the void suit, Kendall. If the void suit gets punctured, it doesn't matter if the armour then stops the bullet, after all. :)

That's assuming the voidsuit is a skinsuit, rather than anything bulkier.

Have a very nice day.

Ha, good point. Fortunately IIRC my emerg kit has a sealant in it. I'm pretty sure I got the super bulky version anyways, to the rulebook!

That's why I made a specific note that Graylen's combination was bulky and a bit stiff. He's got a healthy respect for the dangers of the void, and he's willing to be uncomfortable and clunky if that's what it takes to stay alive. He is, however, really wishing for a set of actual void-armour. :)

I'm hoping we can get the results of a focused Augery so we can see what we're really dealing with, but at the current time, that's all in the hands of NPCs.

I'm not really anticipating much void action at this point, because if there's no air, then how can our capes and robes billow majestically as we disembark?

The Illumination has a modest cache of armoured void suits. Standard suits weight 8 kilos, including air supply, which implies they're small enough to be worn under bulky armour.

I was hoping we'd all walk down the docking tunnel in a row, helmets under the crook of our arms. ;)

White Haven, I said Batteries. Plural. The dorsal surface has a mass of heavy laser guns.

Aah, okay, I misinterpreted then. Still, a uniform-weapon frigate is unusual enough that he'd still comment, so I'll let it stand. :)

Something's more likely to have gotten in if the ship's hull wasn't warded. With the exception that no one wards a ship unless they expect to use it to piss of Chaos.
