Yes.

Which means he won't know our secret language when we make it.
I made our secret language, it consists of whistles, clicks and interpretive dance. You all get to learn it later.

Also should I assume that I was with the others when we got the invitation or should I wait to be filled in by the rest of the group after their meal?

Your assumed to be in Hotfoot's good books, at least for the start and can show up at dinner. If you fail him, he can always send you into a dark place to be eaten by the large numbers of grues I have procured.

No, no, see, the language we'll be using will involve other signals. Let me teach you the one that involves a plasma bolt to the face.

You know, I do understand that in Dark Heresy SP weapons are pretty butch, but this is Rogue Trader, and the gold standard is pretty much bolt or plasma weapons. If we can get you a Nomad, you might be able to stay somewhat competitive, but after a while, SP weapons start to lag behind.

Unless it's too late to change my hunting rifle out for something (and my specialization I suppose) then I'll hope for some decent loot. Like a Kroot Rifle or something.

A Kroot Rifle is exotic and energy, not SP. The Hellgun you could get instead of a hunting rifle has pen 7 and 1d10+4 damage, with a range of 110m, compared to the hunting rifle which is a bit less on all but range.

Hellguns are pretty solid weapons, though Bolters are by far nastier in the long run, with their much higher average damage and differing ammo types, though there are some nice special las packs available.

Now if only you had gone point buy, you would be much better at dakka than your Rogue Trader, as opposed to slightly better

I'm referring to our now-departed astropath, who decided to test just how ungrateful he could be. It reminded me of a story my dad would tell of a guy who, certain that the machineguns above him weren't firing real bullets, tossed his helmet into the air. Stupid enough to get him in pretty deep shit, but not stupid enough to kill him right there.

Well, when someone chooses to play the anti-social luxury disdaining psyker-which is understandable, and perhaps a valid way to play someone that messed up in the head-but then takes that attitude to a high powered meeting, it is rather asking to be snubbed.

So when are we going to start the 'what's waiting for us on that ship' poll?

My vote is for some sort of Zombie.

I vote for no poll. Because if someone guesses right, the GM has incentive to prove the players wrong by making it even worse.

Alright, I'm throwing in. I used point buy but I still have to roll for Fate Points and Wounds. My boy comes from an Imperial World so it's double toughness bonus +1d5 and 1d10 for fate points.

Wounds roll

Fate roll
