"That I am," replied Neilus. "You might want to start at Malareen, on the Outer Rim. All sorts of . . . interesting trade to and fro over the last couple of years. A very large activity spike and that's just on legitimate cargoes." He waggled his fingers. "This is important business, so important that the Jedi Order is willing to lend a hand. The extra muscle and . . ah. . .'persuasion' should help."

He took another bite to eat. "Magnificent. The meat almost melts in your mouth. I'm almost sorry to see it go. But dessert awaits."

Dessert, Trys' ultimate weakness. Yet she did not finish her entree just yet, giving her uncle a sharp look. "The Jedi Order wants to help?" she asked suspiciously.

Dewaddik started climbing, looking for a safe place to stash the girl. Either the thugs would follow him and he would pick them off, fighting as he was in the nearest replication of his natural environment possible, or they wouldn't and he would lose them.

Kel frowned. "Won't that make us stick out like a sore thumb? How many force users go around with groups buying up weapons?"

Trys had to give Kelran credit on that one. She'd not been that impressed with the Jedi she'd had to rescue, and what she heard from the Boys hadn't changed her impression one bit. Far as she was concerned the Jedi were just trouble.

Sith she'd just space for principle.

"Well hopefully they'll have enough brains to disguise themselves," said Neilus. "They do have ways of . . . . persuading people of being forthcoming about where there cargoes are coming from and where their weapon shipments are going."

"The last one didn't," Trys muttered, looking back down to her food. "But I have a feeling you already have spoken to the Jedi Order and they have agreed."

She looked over to Zyke, who had fallen quiet again. "Are we in?" she asked, knowing that she and Kelran owed too many favors to Neilus to be able to refuse. Zyke and Dewaddik had no such ties.

Dewaddik spotted a lift cage that should allow the girl to safely put some distance between her and the gang punks, especially if they were distracted.

Riv was quiet as he sat down, watching the other Jedi carefully as he began his training program. This was what he wanted anyway, he wanted to get a chance to judge his abilities without having to worry about getting smacked by a stick at the same time. The Shistavanen glanced at Brianna briefly to see what she was doing before he looked back.

The droids started out arrayed in front of Asarak. He entered a meditative trance and a Soresu stance using the Force as much as if not more than his eyes to predict the path and timing of incoming fire.

The droids were programmed first to be arrayed in front of him, then to spread out around him along the X and Z axes, then also along the Y. This would continue, their movement and attack patterns becoming more and more complex until he was struck.

He would have preferred using Makashi against a person, it was his preferred form during his original training and he had done his best to keep up with it. However only sparring with one opponent may have made him weaker. Moreover, he could not practice his other talents on droids. The ones that allowed him to throw out Force-enhanced telepathic static to confuse or outright mislead his opponents senses. He had never gotten to try that with a Force Sensitive. He was wondering if he could confuse Precognition that way. However, it didnt matter.

The droids fired, and Asarak moved his saber to intercept. The bolts would not deflect, but would dissipate on impact, so he didnt have to worry about where he sent them.

Dewaddik quickly stashed the girl in the cage and headed back to where the punks would see him. Let's see if they can fight like Wookies he thought grimly.

Hanging in plain sight of them he began to howl for their attention. He had a moment of thanks that none of them had blasters.

Brianna had left the practice area.

The Twileks rushed to converge on the Wookie. They were split over two ladders and a group coming up a lift platform.

Dewaddik began to climb upwards the travel time required would cause the gang to split up more.

Riv noted that Brianna was gone, and turned his full attention back to Asarak. He watched as the jedi moved to deflect, but Riv was also trying to figure out where the deflected shots would go if they did not dissipate.

Zyke nodded at Trys's question, "Yeah, it sounds good. I'll try to keep any Jedi we get in line. Maybe we can even train them to act like normal people. It will be difficult, but who knows, maybe one day they'll live normal lives like the rest of us." Secretly, he knew Jedi were trouble, but it was always better to have one on your side than on the other side. "So, what Jedi will be coming with us?"

The gang split from three to four columns as they continued to pursue the wookie up the superstructure of the building. Above Dewaddik lights blazed as construction droids continued to work and reassemble the upper levels.

Two remotes hovered at a height of two meters and confronted Asarak head on while a third droid circled high on the left and a forth circled low to the right. The remote's blaster bolts were set so that they would only cause a slight sting.

The one on the left opened up and then the one on the right. After a moment, the ones directly in front of the Jedi Padawan joined in the barrage.

Dewaddki howled with glee at the sight and began to work his way around the building. He would see if he could hit one of the flank columns from the side. He considered grabbing a club or something on the way but decided it would to much like fighting with his claws. With a sniff at such an act he picked up speed.

The dessert cart was brought out, handled by a being not a droid (another sign of class in this restaurant), and Trys made her selection from the offerings upon it.

"Should I contact them myself with a lift-off date, or simply wait to hear from you, Uncle?" she asked before taking the first bite of the decadent creation in front of her.

There were two Twileks in one of the flanking groups that coming up via a small equipment lift.

"I'll let you know," said Neilus. "That's if the Jedi get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. You know how they are. Patience, wait for guidance from the Force, all that nonsense."

There were two Twileks in one of the flanking groups that coming up via a small equipment lift.
The Twileks likely thought themselves secure and safe in the lift. There were several fatal flaws in that plan. First was the fact that there were only 2 of them. Second was the fact that they carried no weapons that would truely offset the natural imbalence between Wookie and Twilek. The most fatal flaws however? Was that the lift had no roof and the Wookie was coming from above.

Dewaddki landed on one of the hoods. It wasn't necessary honestly, but his sense of humor was perverse like that. Plus he liked the sound it made. The second Twilek was alone in a small space with a large, strong and well trained veteran Wookie. Calling it a massacre would understate the problem for the young thug.

To his credit Dewaddki thought as he broke the Twilek's arm, he only screamed once before going under, doing so as Dewaddki slugged him across the face. This one made a pretty nice sound hitting the floor to.

Kel nodded, chuckling. "Yep. I had to work with one back in CorSec, took forever to get moving." Kel skipped the deserts, finishing his drink.

The Twileks were momentary confused. They shouted angrily and uttered promises of severe punishment, but they weren't sure how to proceed.

Dewaddki stopped the lift and exited. He began climb downward, circling again. He wanted to see how the Twileks would react to the change in direction.

The Twileks were emboldened by Dewaddik's solution to their problem. All three groups aimed to converge on the Wookie's location.
